Base pay rangeThe Fire Protection Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of passive fire protection projects, ensuring the successful implementation of fire safety measures in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Fire Protection Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating project teams, liaising with stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- Evidence of experience in a Fire Protection Contracts Manager role.
- Hold professional qualifications with the Institution of Fire Engineers, ASFP or equivalent.
- Hold professional qualification in management and leadership.

In this role you will act as the competent source of advice for fire safety within your geographical area of operation, providing technical advice and support to colleagues on all matters relating to fire safety. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Homes Directorate to ensure that repairs, refurbishment and capital schemes are reviewed to ensure that design standards conform to best practice and works undertaken meet the company's quality expectations. Reporting to the Head of Fire and Building Safety, you will liaise with local Fire & Rescue teams and the business' primary authority partner to respond to fire events and enforcement activity across your area. You will work alongside the building safety team to deliver the business' building safety engagement strategy and fire safety communication programme and support residents to live safely in their homes.
Duties:
- Provide technical advice and support to the business regarding all fire safety matters;

Job Description
MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Fire Safety Surveyor to join a Local Authority based in Hammersmith, West London. This will be a interim position paying 350p/d Umbrella.
My client can offer a hybrid working role which will include mainly on site work with some office and home working.
Job Purpose:
To provide fire safety surveying expertise, support and advice to ensure my clients housing stock is inspected, managed and maintained in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and any other appropriate Health and Safety Legislation.
Key Duties:
List key personal duties in order of importance.
- Provide specialist professional and technical advice and reports on all matters within the functionality of the service, including undertaking the role of professional or expert witness at hearings, adjudications and legal proceedings etc.
- Undertake and produce Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) for my clients housing stock and tenant meeting rooms, identifying all fire related risks and raise orders to repair and maintenance contractors to remedy risks and rectify identified minor breaches.
- Prepare a programme of FRA inspections in accordance with the regulatory reform order taking
