Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience and Project Delivery, the Project Manager is responsible for managing the timely delivery of quality project implementations, resulting in a positive customer experience and a reference-able customer.
Requirements
The Project Manager is expected to be able to deliver projects in accordance with the K3 Syspro ‘IDEAL’ project methodology, which itself is based upon PRINCE 2 principles.
The Project Manager is the key point of contact with the customer and should maintain the suite of project documentation relating to each project, (such as project meetings, consultancy visits, development meetings etc.) and ensure it is available via the K3 Syspro SharePoint site.
The Project Manager is responsible for enforcing agreed project governance and using good judgement identify where an issue needs to be escalated to the Senior Supplier for attention.
Administration
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring all their diary bookings conform to the requirements of the NexSys diary system, to protect the commercial interests of NexSys, by ensuring that each booking has commercial coverage agreed in advance and scheduling consultants to customers to meet the expectations of the customer in context to the programme schedule.
The Project Manager will ensure they bill their time where appropriate and complete site delivery notes representing the work in a timely fashion.
Reporting
The Project Manager will compile a monthly status report for each project which includes a budget reconciliation, highlights of the key risks and issues, an overall status, and a measure against the project timeline.
This will be presented to the Head of Customer Experience and Project Delivery during a monthly project team meeting where each project will be reviewed, and a RAG status allocated. They will then follow up on any actions arising from this meeting.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent
- Evidential Experience of managing and delivering successful programmes
- Extensive experience as implementations project/programme manager, preferably in an ERP environment throughout full project lifecycle
- Experience in managing multiple complex projects/programmes with varying objectives and milestones.
- Experience of managing commercially and politically sensitive projects in a high governance or regulated industry background
- Experienced in C-suite stakeholder management
- Experience of working with technical and development teams
- Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods.
- Proficient in core project management technology (MS Project)
- Good understanding of technology in our industry (SQL, Citrix, SFDC, etc.)
- Knowledge of core processes in ERP industry
- Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements
- Excellent communication with both stakeholders and senior management, including delivering difficult messages

In order to provide key customer project management focus across some key programmes, we are looking to recruit a Project Manager to support onsite at our customer whilst supporting the SESUK leadership and the internal engineering processes.
The role requires excellent senior stakeholder management, and experience in being able to push back and manage expectations. The role is data and digital focused so we would welcome candidates that have a computer science, project management and engineering background.
You will be working in close coordination with the wider SES project organisation to accomplish on site project objectives (Scope, Schedule, Cost and Quality) through planning, execution and closure of all project related activities. You will collect metrics from different data sources (e.g. financial data, sales figures and logistic costs) and analyze the results using statistical techniques to provide insightful reports to contribute to crucial organisation decisions.
With an immediate start date the role is offered on a 3m fixed term contract or via the contractor route Inside IR35. The role is based onsite at our customer site in Cwmbran.
- Assume the role of main point of contact for the key customer and other project stakeholders
- Create and deliver project work plans (schedules), projects proposal and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
