Key Responsibilities:
Fleet
- Running the fleet management system
- Processing defects
- Organising Maintenance & Servicing
- MOT Bookings
- Insurance – reporting incident and Damage
- Negotiating maintenance contracts

- FORS vehicles are maintained and documented in line with the specific rules

Drivers
- Repeated damage to vehicles by drivers
- Drivers not following procedures that fall under fleet compliance (for example not carrying out daily checks)
- Monitoring drivers’ performance through telematics and implementing positive steps to increase both individual drivers and the overall fleet scores.
- Monitoring cab & vehicle cleanliness and implanting steps to improve with offending drivers.
- Checking driver defect checks and performing their own “gate checks” on vehicles.
- Challenging driver on unreported damage, investigating and reporting to the transport manager.
Compliance
- Booking, preparing and taking for FORS audits
- Managing the online O licence login
- Assisting in O licence applications and expansions
- General compliance of all vehicles as listed in sections above

A bit about the role >
With a Fleet of over 49,000 vehicles, including traditional fuel and electric vehicles, LCVs and HGVs, maintaining our vehicles is a true team effort. Reporting to the Fleet Workshop Manager, the Shift Supervisor provides a pivotal supporting role to the Workshop management team. Responsible for leading operations across a shift in line with production planning and control requirements, you’ll deploy agreed processes and staff resources to ensure the Workshop operates safely and delivers high levels of quality and efficiency.
p>• You’ll be first line leadership delivering Weekly Team Meetings, shift huddles and have involvement in the remedial approach to conduct issues whilst ensuring a Technicians’ wellbeing following return from sick absence.
• You’ll perform a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment, when required.
• You’ll use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair light / heavy goods vehicles.
• You’ll also have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
• You’ll perform effective stock control processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work orders and associated vehicle documentation to meet both business and legal requirements.
A bit about you
• Experienced leader: you’ve managed a team of vehicle technicians with excellent knowledge of H&S and have the ability to communicate technical issues to the team.
• Qualified mechanic: you’re fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent). You’ve got your own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, for example LCV / HGV.
• Valid UK driving license: You hold a full manual UK driving license, preferably an HGV license with trailer experience.
• High working standards : you take pride in your work and do what is necessary to make sure the job is done effectively.
• Flexible to service demands: you’re able to work on a flexible shift rota. You’re always willing to support your team where necessary.

Fleet Administrator - The Role:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Fleet Administrator to work with a small team based in our offices in Brynmenyn, South Wales. The role will also have responsibility for scheduling the brake testing process in our Main Operational Depot in Longcross, Surrey.
The ability to forge strong relationships across the different departments is key to this role.
Fleet Administrator - Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Account Manager & Planners to schedule Brake Testing protocols in line with the operator licence undertakings
- Updating of R2C workshop management system
- Arranging inspections/MOTs/IVA’s/Tacho Calibrations with external service providers
- Cross-referencing equipment on production against job sheets for Tacho calibration, service and MOTs, electrical certification certificates
- Update Hire Vehicle Spreadsheet & Issue Weekly Hire Report
