Duties for this Food Manufacturing Operative role are as follows:
- Loading powdered products into hoppers to be mixed
- Weighing products to ensure you create the correct blend.
- Labelling bags of mixed products
- Sealing bags of product ready to be palletised
- Quality checking items
- Some aspects of heavy lifting up to 25kg throughout the working shift
Hours of work available for this Food Manufacturing Operative role are as follows:
AM SHIFT MONDAY-FRIDAY
05:00 - 13:00
Pay for this shift is 12.50 per hour.
Overtime paid at 18.75
Saturdays and Sundays paid at 18.75 per hour
We have immediate starts available for this Food Manufacturing Operative role.

- 28 days per annum annual leave (pro rata)

Working as part of a well-established team, you will play a key role in developing new recipes and updating existing ones to meet customer briefs. Working closely with the NPD, technical and quality teams, you will ensure your recipes are scalable and ready for production.
Key tasks
Collaborate with our innovative NPD team to develop new recipes and refine existing ones based on customer briefs.
Prepare customer samples, source various ingredients and assist in presenting samples during customer meetings whilst ensuring cost analysis is kept up to date and available at the customer's request.

Leading a small team in Quality Assurance you will be responsible for managing supplier and raw material compliance to a variety of standards - BRCGS, SQMS, Halal, Kosher, etc.
You will primarily be based in Biggleswade but should be happy to travel on occasion to other company sites in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
