Working in Quality Control / Quality Assurance you will be responsible for monitoring food safety and quality standards.
You will primarily be based at their site in Bedford (outskirts of the town, near Renhold) but should be happy to travel to their site in Biggleswade too, from time to time.
So, you must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

Working as part of a well-established team, you will play a key role in developing new recipes and updating existing ones to meet customer briefs. Working closely with the NPD, technical and quality teams, you will ensure your recipes are scalable and ready for production.
Key tasks
Collaborate with our innovative NPD team to develop new recipes and refine existing ones based on customer briefs.
Prepare customer samples, source various ingredients and assist in presenting samples during customer meetings whilst ensuring cost analysis is kept up to date and available at the customer's request.
You will build a strong portfolio of key market trends, customer brands, and insights to guide product development, working with retailer partners providing specification details and identifying gap analysis trends across market ranges.
You will contribute to the creation of innovative and exciting, high-quality products that align with customer requirements and expectations whilst adhering to industry standards.
The person
You should hold or have achieved a degree in food science or equivalent category and have experience of working with an NPD team.

About the Role:
We are looking to recruit electrical engineers who will work closely with the manufacturing team maintaining and servicing all processing machinery to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all preventative maintenance is conducted to avoid production disruption.
You will need to have worked in a similar manufacturing environment and be able to carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding and deal with machine down-time efficiently.
