Overview:
Responsible for overseeing the production of the RTW line, ensuring production runs smoothly and the Critical path is respected. The Production Manager is also in charge of the day-to-day management of the suppliers and manufacturers, securing the price negotiation, the quality, as well as the delivery to the warehouse in due time.
Production Planning and Supplier Management:
- Plan and manage the RTW production schedule from final sales to delivery, covering both CMT and Fully Factored products
- Maintain a deep understanding of all product categories, including outerwear, tailoring, knitwear, jersey, leather, denim and wovens — to ensure consistent execution and quality across the brand’s full range.
- Oversee factory timelines and continuously strive to achieve and improve seasonal deliveries ensuring deadlines are met, without compromising quality or craftsmanship.
- Continuously identify, source, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen and diversify the brand’s supply base, ensuring access to the highest quality craftsmanship and innovation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers through regular communication and on-site visits to monitor production progress
- Negotiate raw material costs (trims) and confirm pricing with suppliers to maintain and improve required margins.
- Raise and manage all raw material (trim) orders and coordinate all ‘factory to supply’ trims with manufacturers.
- Develop and maintain seasonal delivery trackers, ensuring they are updated daily and used to monitor progress against timelines
- Work closely with the Technical team to identify pattern priorities and ensure timely production launches
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to identify styles requiring enhanced QC processes (e.g., 100% inspection or on-site visits).
- Attend seasonal production fittings and liaise with Technical and QC teams at PPS/QC stages to secure early and smooth deliveries
- Oversee the Production Coordinator and Production Intern, managing workload and priorities in alignment with the Head of Production.
- Proactively resolve production issues in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers
- Liaise closely with the Accounts department to ensure timely payments, preventing any delays in shipment or release of goods.
- Report weekly to the Head of Production on the delivery schedule
Compliance and Sustainability:
- Manage the company’s Sedex account, acting as the main point of contact for all related activities.
- Ensure all manufacturing partners are onboarded, maintain active Sedex memberships, and update compliance documentation as required.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards, sustainability objectives and delivery excellence, taking corrective actions where needed
- Continuously review and enhance production processes, implementing best practices for luxury garment manufacturing and responsible sourcing
Operational and Systems Management:
- Ensure all pricing information is accurate and updated in internal systems.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate timely material deliveries to align with production timelines.
- Maintain all systems (e.g., Zedonk / ERP) with accurate, real-time data.

Get in early with a burgeoning on trend healthy fresh food independent operator.
CPU Manager required - A proven CPU Manager is required to head up the production team of a very successful business that is going thru a period of growth. You will be working very closely with the Directors - setting up next level processes & systems & building out the team as the business readies it self to scale up. There will be food development responsibilities with this role as the Directors look to drive the current food offering.
The business has at least 1 new opening already penned this year with more in the pipeline. We have been asked to put a search out for the very best high quality CPU Manager talent in London.
There is also a move mooted for their existing site to a larger space in Marylebone by the end of this year.
You must come from a production background & ideally have a good working understanding of high volume systems. The business prepares approx 100kg's of prep per day that are created up into a finished product.
This is not the norm. It is not just about leading. We are inviting applications from those with first class commercial skills in food development, an outstanding H & S & food safety track record & you must have worked in either busy single site fresh food CPU's or multi site restaurant business CPU's where there is a focus on healthy, on trend food. You must come to the table with the right level of management experience and have the confidence & commercial nous to work closely with the Directors to help drive & navigate the business through its future growing plans. This is a very fast moving privately owned group so decisive decision making & a tenacious management style are a pre-requisite.
