We are looking to recruit approximately 20 Food Production operatives into these roles over the next 4 weeks and we would love to hear from you. Roles will based within the Food Production environment, and are primarily packing and quality checking the products.
Successful candidates will be expected to work a mix of the following shifts, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 06:00 with additional overtime making up a 12 hour shift over busy periods. Hours will vary from week to week and typically successful applicants can expect between 30 and 40 hours in an average working week however some weeks may exceed this.

Our clients' operating hours for Food Production Operatives are:
- Monday to Friday - start time can be anytime between 5.30 am and 7 am
- Finish time is between 2.30 pm and 4 pm

- A reference from a previous employer within the last 3 years - This is in line with our ISO accreditation, and as part of our onboarding for our client
- A good level of fitness is required due to the manual lifting side of the business, where you may be required to lift and shift.
- The ability to work on a fast-paced production line
- You must be local to Musselburgh or have transport due to the starting times

Responsibilities
- Complete physical duties and problem-solving tasks. li>Maintaining a safe work environment and monitor equipment.
- Ensure that the weights, vacuum, torque and codes for each product is correct.
- Ensure that the labels and packaging is correct for the product.
- Carry out cleaning procedures.
- Change over the machines for product and line changes.
- Manufacture the product to the required specification, in a quality and hygienic manner.
- Carrying out safety checks on the machinery.
- Lifting and manoeuvring stock items up to 20kg.
