Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. This role involves assisting in various food and beverage operations, ensuring a high standard of service, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Duties

  • Assist in the serving of food and beverages in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing away food and drink items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Adhere to food safety standards to guarantee the quality and safety of all food items served.
  • Assist with barista duties, preparing coffee and other beverages as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and catering services is advantageous.
  • Experience and knowledge of beverage preparation is a plus.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are required.
