As a talented footwear designer, you will be supporting the Head of Footwear and working closely with the buying and creative teams ensuring you create appealing, quality, commercial and brand cohesive footwear ranges across the various categories for men’s, women’s and kids.


Your main responsibilities will include.

  • Deliver balanced and extensive design research e. g. using directional shopping, fabric fairs, catwalk awareness to create unique stand out footwear lines.
  • Undertake Market research to identify the latest trends, colours and fabrics are and analysing competitors ranges.
  • Liaising with the overall Design Manager to ensure best balance of colour across the ranges for all key markets including linking to clothing ranges through colour lifts or graphic applications where required.
  • Creation of mood board/packs for design presentations
  • Provide insight on initial samples, ensuring that all finished footwear match initial design specifications.
  • Liaise with buying ensure that the range can realistically be delivered within the costs/ margins.

Key requirements for the role.
