Job Description
Footwear Designer | Manchester | Circa 45,000 | Hybrid, Flexible Working
This isn't just a job - it's a place where people stay .
A people-first brand built on creativity, and trust. This is a space for designers who've been burnt by bad industry experiences and are looking for something real - a supportive culture, healthy pace, and the freedom to focus and thrive.
They're continuing to build something special here: a brand that listens, that grows together, and that's still got so much potential, even though they're already one of THE biggest retailers in the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
We're looking for a Footwear Designer; bringing energy, originality, and care to everything you create. You'll work closely with other designers and category managers to deliver seasonally relevant footwear concepts - that are innovative, functional, and beautifully considered.
Translate consumer insights, market trends, and creative vision into design concepts
Set the seasonal workload and ensure delivery against timelines
Build designs with a solid understanding of footwear construction, costing, and materials
Work fluidly across projects and categories, from early ideation to final design packs
Contribute to market research, trend reports, and product storytelling
Develop your 3D design and Adobe Suite skills in a real-world environment
Participate in off-sites and creative events, growing your confidence and voice as a designer
Collaborate across product, merchandising, development and marketing teams
About You
4+ years of experience in footwear
Digitally fluent: confident in Adobe Suite; 3D skills a big plus or eager to learn
Strong visual storytelling and communication skills
Collaborative and respectful - someone who contributes to a calm, supportive team energy
Deep interest in construction, manufacturing, materials, and sustainability
Naturally organised - able to manage multiple timelines and deadlines
Why You'll Love It Here
Flexible, hybrid working - built on trust, not micromanagement
You'll have space to focus, crack on and deliver - and be recognised for it
A truly values-led company culture: inclusive, collaborative, and forward-thinking
Be part of the brand's growth story - and make your mark early on
Sound like your kind of place? We'd love to hear from you.
