This is a Full-Time position based in our London, UK Office.
What You Will Do
We are looking for a technically strong, business-savvy Platform Engineer to lead the rollout and ongoing development of the Palantir Foundry and AIP platform at ARK. This new role is pivotal to enabling our teams - across research, investment, operations, and marketing - to scale productivity and unlock new capabilities through data integration, automation, and intelligent workflows.
You will work end-to-end across solution design, Foundry configuration, code development, and platform enablement, becoming the go-to expert on how Palantir tools can accelerate decision-making and operational efficiency across the firm.
You will be part of the ARK Technology Team reporting to the Digital Architect based in London, United Kingdom.
Your Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Development
Configure, develop, and maintain solutions across Foundry modules (Ontologies, Code Workbooks, Applications, etc.)
Build robust data pipelines and reusable data assets to support cross-team use cases
Integrate external systems, APIs, and services with Foundry to enrich internal workflows
Manage Foundry platform operations including access control, deployment workflows, versioning, and collaboration practices
Stakeholder Enablement & Collaboration
Partner with business users to translate requirements into modular, scalable Foundry-based solutions
Serve as a technical advisor and point of contact for Foundry/AIP questions and capability rollouts
Create and maintain internal documentation to improve self-service and institutional knowledge
Automation & Integration
Implement serverless functions, workflow automations, and low-code interfaces
Build AI/LLM-powered tools using AIP, and internal models to augment analytics and research workflows
Support integration of Foundry with Microsoft 365, GitHub, and ARK's cloud services (Azure/GCP)
Continuous Improvement
Stay ahead of platform updates, technical trends, and best practices in the Foundry and AI ecosystems
Identify opportunities for process optimization, capability enhancement, or cost-efficiency
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or platform development roles
Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, and JavaScript
Proven experience in building and maintaining production-grade systems and integrations
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and serverless development
Familiarity with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or Foundry-native apps)
Experience with APIs, web scraping, Git-based workflows, and ETL tooling
Prior exposure to Palantir Foundry and/or AIP required
Experience with low-code tools such as Airtable, Power Automate, and integration services
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Passion for emerging technologies and platform thinking
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Certifications in cloud architecture, data engineering, or AI/ML platforms are a plus
Familiarity with enterprise productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Notion, etc.)
