We are hiring an experienced full-time music producer, with a primary focus on Mandarin music production. You will be fully involved in all aspects of the music production process and work closely with artists to ensure world-class professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle composition, arrangement, and overall music production to ensure professional quality.

• Work closely with artists to provide creative and technical production support.

• Use DAWs (such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live) for arrangement and post-production.

• Adapt sound design based on project requirements, aligned with market trends and audience preferences.

• Manage the production workflow to ensure timely delivery and adherence to artistic and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Mandarin music production, with knowledge of various Mandarin music styles.

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with strong communication skills for collaboration with international teams and local artists.

• Proficiency in DAWs and audio processing tools, with solid experience in recording, mixing, and mastering.

• Avid Pro Tools Certified preferred.

• Experience in Dolby Atmos / immersive audio production is a plus.

•A postgraduate degree (Master’s level) in Music Production  or Sound Production  is required.

• Provide creative direction and technical guidance to artists and recording engineers.
• Manage studio budgets and timelines effectively.

• Contribute to the development of new talent and creative initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with copyright and licensing regulations.

• Compose original scores for film, television, and video games, demonstrating a deep understanding of narrative and emotional resonance.
• Produce and mix studio-quality music and sound design elements, ensuring seamless integration with visual media.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including creative directors, game designers, and animators, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Stay abreast of current trends and technological advancements in music production and scoring.
• Maintain meticulous organization of project files and assets.
• Develop and mentor junior composers and producers within the team.
• Contribute to sound branding initiatives and audio strategy development.
• Source and license music tracks where appropriate, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Undertake sound editing and mastering tasks as required.

• Proven track record as a composer and music producer with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of styles and technical proficiency.
• Expertise in industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Cubase, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
• Proficiency in music notation software (e.g., Sibelius, Finale).
• Excellent understanding of music theory, harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration.
• Experience with virtual instruments, synthesizers, and audio effects processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, essential for remote team environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high-quality output.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Composition, Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with game audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) is a significant advantage.
• Passion for storytelling and a keen ear for immersive sound design.

• Conceptualize, compose, and produce original music scores tailored to project requirements and emotional arcs.

• Extensive portfolio showcasing high-quality music composition and sound design for interactive media or film.
• Proven experience as a Lead Producer or Senior Sound Designer in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live) and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
• Strong understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio engineering principles.
• Exceptional ear for detail, rhythm, melody, and sonic texture.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
