Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.

- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Chef(Sous chef or above) within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff and fostering a positive working environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Knitwear Designer to join our team on a project basis, supporting the development of upcoming womenswear knitwear collections for Baukjen. We require a designer with a strong background in luxury or premium fashion, excellent technical knowledge, and a modern, refined aesthetic that aligns with the Baukjen brand handwriting.
This is an exciting opportunity to create a new knitwear range that captures the Baukjen women and works in harmony with our brand. Creating a collection that will appeal to our relaxed, timeless aesthetic with luxury detailing, fashion nods and sustainable fabrications.
This is a remote position though you must be available to be hands on in your approach; developing swatches and attend development meetings in our London office. You will be working closely with the Design Director to curate the range to bring your cool and commercial knitwear designs to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design a range of premium womenswear knitwear styles in line with the Baukjen brand’s aesthetic and seasonal direction.
- Work closely with the design director to develop a cohesive knitwear range that meets the commercial and fashion needs of the brand.
- Advise on trend, colour, yarn, stitch and women’s knitwear key items for AW26/27
- Source yarns and develop new stitches for each collection.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications suitable for sampling and production.
- Select appropriate yarns and finishing techniques aligned with our sustainability criteria and premium quality standards.
- Liaise with the product development team and suppliers to ensure feasibility and garment execution to a high standard.

This is a remote position though you must be available to be hands on in your approach; sourcing materials, trims and attending development meetings in our London office. You will be working closely with the Design Director to curate the range to bring your cool and commercial bag designs to reality.
Key Responsibilities:

About You
As our Freelance Visual Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in shaping the visual identity of our first retail store. This is a strategic and hands-on role that will involve concept development, layout planning, fixture recommendations, and seasonal visual updates—ensuring our store communicates the brand's DNA while driving customer engagement and sales.
You'll be responsible for:
Working with our brand, project management, and marketing teams to design visual merchandising concepts aligned with our brand identity
Developing floor plans, fixture layouts, and visual merchandising guides for the new store
Creating window and in-store display mockups and planograms
Sourcing or advising on mannequins, display props, signage, and visual assets
Providing recommendations on in-store flow and customer experience enhancements
Supporting seasonal refreshes and product drops with updated visual strategies
Ensuring visual consistency across all product categories and brand touchpoints
Offering on-site support during store setup and launch phases (if local or travelable)
You'll need to have:
10+ years of visual merchandising experience in retail fashion or lifestyle brands; athleisure or activewear a strong plus
Strong portfolio showcasing previous retail and display work
Proficiency in spatial planning tools (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, or similar)
Strong sense of style, color theory, and brand storytelling
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate across creative and operations teams
Flexibility to work in-person for key milestones (store walkthroughs, installation, etc.)
