About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on a 3.5m listed refurbishment project in North West London . This is a high-profile and complex project requiring a detail-oriented and proactive QS to manage all commercial aspects from inception through to final account.
As the Lead Surveyor , you will report directly to the Commercial Director and will be the main point of contact for all cost and contract matters on site. You will be responsible for overseeing procurement, cost management, contract administration, and commercial reporting throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Take full commercial ownership of the project from pre-construction through to completion.
Manage the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers in line with programme requirements.
Prepare and issue tender packages, carry out analysis and comparisons, and make recommendations.
Negotiate and manage subcontract orders, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Monitor and manage project budgets and forecasts, reporting monthly to senior management.
Provide accurate and timely CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and cash flow forecasts.
Liaise with project managers, design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth commercial operations.
Ensure that all contractual obligations are met, including compliance with the listed building consent conditions.
Mitigate risk and implement robust commercial controls.
Prepare and agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in refurbishment and fit-out, ideally on listed or heritage buildings.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar QS role.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT in particular).
Demonstrable experience managing all aspects of procurement and commercial reporting.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
RICS membership (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.

The Role
Working with our Event Production team, our Freelance Event Producers report to one of our two Event Leads.
The team work with a huge variety of amazing clients; IMG, Boiler Room, RHS, Broadwick Live, Krankbrother and many more, delivering events across a variety of sectors, including; Music Festivals, Christmas Light Trails, Fireworks shows, Plane shows, Cultural Events and more.
The Event Production teams role is to work with our supply team to create curated and top quality F&B line ups for these events, whether thats owning one street food are, or delivering F&B across the entire event. We ensure all details from the suppliers is up to date and correct; licenses, h&s checks, allergen charts etc, take site payments where needed and manage them onsite from load in to load out.
Requirements
Freelance Event Producers will be required to come in and support the permanent team in delivering a variety of our events, particularly across peak season (Summer and Christmas). We are always looking to be in touch with great talent we can work with during this period.
To be suitable for these roles you must have:
- Experience working on large scale greenfield events.
- Thrive while working on-site at events, whether its a weekend, late night or early morning!
- Previously managed multiple F&B traders onsite.
- Highly organised and tech savvy. Our platform, tech & automation are at the heart of what we do.
- Have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
