We are actively seeking freelance/contract AV/VC Engineers across the UK to work on-site at Financial institutions and large corporate customer sites.
Suitable candidates will be available for a quick start and have customer facing, corporate experience providing technical support involving all aspects of audio visual, video conferencing, displays and presentations.
Our contract / freelance roles would suit a seasoned freelancer looking for additional days/weeks work, or alternatively, someone in between jobs or out of work looking for a short to medium term solution.
Please note, actual day rates are dependent on specific site and experience/skill-set of workers.
Desired Service Engineer experience:
- Fault finding and resolution: Identifying and resolving issues with AV systems at customers' sites through thorough troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- On-site repairs: Performing necessary repairs and component replacements on AV equipment directly at customers' sites, maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
- Detailed reports and documentation: Creating detailed reports after each service visit, documenting identified faults, actions taken, and any additional maintenance or remedial actions required, providing clear and concise information for future reference.
Desired Installation Engineer Experience:
- Installation of AV systems: Expertly installing and integrating a diverse range of AV/IT systems, including broadcast systems, displays, signage, video conferencing solutions, audio setups, control systems.
- Interpretation of written directives including schematic diagrams, M&E drawings and cable structures.
- Completion of first fix cable routing, pulling and cable identity, logging progress in working documents and schematics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record delivering internal packages, preferably on school or university projects, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations for internal works (e.g., partitions, ceilings, flooring, M&E, joinery, finishes).
- Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades on site.
