The Lead Frontend Engineer is responsible for leading and evolving the frontend engineering strategy across JustPark's web platforms. The position involves technical leadership of the frontend engineering squad, architectural oversight, and ensuring high-quality delivery of frontend solutions that serve millions of users globally across our customer-facing applications, internal tools, and client portals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong focus on frontend engineering
• Strong technical background in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in an agile environment
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns and best practices
• Deep knowledge of React, Redux (including Redux Toolkit), Next.js, and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite)
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
• Strong understanding of internationalisation (i18n) and localisation practices
• Experience with component library development and design system implementation
• Knowledge of frontend testing strategies (Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library, Storybook)

First-stage - 30-minute virtual video interview via Google Meet with the People Team to tell you more about JustPark and the role and learn more about your experience

Second-stage - 45-minute virtual video interview via Google Meet with the Hiring Manager

Third-stage - A take home tech task. We always make sure that the task is relevant for the role and efficient for the process. Our tasks vary in length based on the role and seniority but the task would never take longer than a max. of 3-4 hours to complete

Final stage - A 1.5 hour final interview to meet your team and manager, do a code review exercise and cover final interview-type questions around the role

Requirements

Your technical skills:

• Building large-scale applications with React, Redux and Next.js;
• Good demonstrable TypeScript experience;

The Senior Frontend Engineer is based in London, reports to the Sr. Director, Engineering, and is a part of the UK Skimlinks Engineering Team. The Senior Front-end Enginee r is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interface to create visually appealing and functional interfaces that provide a seamless user experience. Their role involves translating design mockups into code, optimizing performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and implementing responsive design to accommodate various devices and screen sizes. Front-end engineers also collaborate closely with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to integrate the front end with server-side logic and create cohesive, user-friendly products.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your role will involve:

Requirements

Our front-end team is responsible for our customer-facing interfaces (Publisher Hub), Chrome extension (Editor Tool), and high-performance Javascript deployed on some of the largest Publishers in the world.

In our tech stack, we use the latest technologies, such as React, Next.js, Typescript, Tanstack Cypress.io, Jest, Docker, and Kubernetes, all hosted in Google Cloud.

About You:

• High degree of fluency in JavaScript, with knowledge of modern techniques as well as core JS concepts.
• Deep understanding of React and it’s ecosystem
