As a key role in the Strategy and Architectural team based in Digital Services function, this role is responsible for the efficient and effective build, maintenance of new network infrastructure (virtual or physical) to ensure the needs of Warwickshire Police are met.

Main Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the forces network infrastructure at all times with it be the day to day operational running or during the planning, design, development and documentation of new technical solutions.
To undertake the role of network subject matter expert, providing technical support assurance and guidance in designated area, working unsupervised on infrastructure, network configuration and security tasks meeting required service levels and complying with Digital Service directorate procedures.
To ensure that the network meets all the relevant industry/national /legislative /compliance standards and demonstrates consistency of implementation.

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities and Maintenance Team at Valley House. You will be joining a multi service charity based in Coventry. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £24,000 per annum. 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays with an additional day's leave for every 2 years of service, up to a maximum of 29 days per year. What We Do
Valley House provides supported accommodation for vulnerable individuals and families, as well as a range of community services. Over the last year we have been buying our own properties and currently own 22, ranging in size from 1 bed flats to 4 bed houses. Additionally, we lease 32 properties from a range of local Registered Providers.
Our Facilities and Maintenance Team are responsible for ensuring the properties are maintained to a high standard and compliant with all relevant legislation.
We are looking for a reliable and committed individual who is able to:
- Undertake routine maintenance tasks, cleaning, repairs, improvements, decorating and gardening which ensures Valley House premises and properties are welcoming, safe and well-maintained.
- Work as part of a rota, in a flexible way, to ensure maintenance cover is provided Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm.
- Support the development of trainees within the Maintenance Team.
- Ensure a high standard of general housekeeping to prepare accommodation units for the arrival of new service users, including cleaning, maintenance and gardening, as directed.
- Garden maintenance at Valley House premises and properties.
- Monitor the standards of household equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings within the properties and carry out appropriate repairs.
- Transport residents' belongings when moving between Valley House properties.
- Purchase household items as authorised - obtaining receipts and keeping accurate records in accordance with established procedures.
- To hold a company credit card and supplier cards to make purchases, up to agreed limits.

- Ensuring security when opening and closing the offices.
- Maintain logs and records as required.
- Work unsupervised in Valley House premises and properties, taking account of the responsibilities of working in a vulnerable service user's home and lone working procedures.
- Identify potential safeguarding issues and report immediately to a senior member of staff.
The successful candidate will have:
- Level 2 in Property Maintenance or experience of carrying out general DIY/Maintenance tasks including cleaning, basic plumbing, gardening and decorating.
- Experience of safely operating and maintaining equipment needed to undertake DIY tasks.
- Experience of undertaking manual and lifting tasks, moving equipment, materials and furniture.
- Understanding of the needs of Valley House service user group.
