As a Deputy Care Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilitiesYou will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning and staff management/development. We would like to hear from you if you are a committed, flexible and enthusiastic team player who is able to coach and mentor a team of support workers. You will be IT literate and able to undertake some administration duties.

Your duties can include:

  • You will assist the manager in the running of the service including rota, supervising, mentoring and leading the team to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems maintained which guarantee compliance.
  • To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
  • To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.

Your required skills and experiences:

  • A full manual UK license and the willingness to drive our company vehicle is desirable.
  • Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is beneficial ( BSL / Makaton etc.)
  • You must have previous experience in the management of services and understand the legislation and requirements that governs us from CQC.
  • Knowledge of multi sensory impairments / learning difficullties is beneficial.

This is an exciting opportunity to join North Northamptonshire Council’s Housing Management Service at a time of real change and investment. We are reshaping our services to be more visible, proactive and closer to tenants than ever before, and our sheltered housing team and contact centre are central to this transformation.

As a Senior Contact and Response Officer , you’ll lead a team of Officers, ensuring that all alarm activations and calls are responded to and residents living in our schemes are safe and well and feel truly supported.  In addition, the contact centre acts as housings out of hours emergency response service and takes responsibility for calls relating to other housing service areas. You’ll be a visible leader – coaching staff, monitoring standards, and ensuring that every resident feels valued, listened to and connected.

You will be part of a service that is:

Community Support Worker

Full or Part Time hours available

£12.94 per hour (including hourly bonus) after Induction and Training is completed.

Anglian Care is an efficient privately run business, with an excellent reputation, that provides a bespoke Home Care service to adult service users in the March PE15 / Chatteris PE16 areas (and surrounding villages.)

We are currently seeking experienced caring individuals who can make a difference. 

A Full-Time and Part-Time opportunity is available and level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable, but not essential if the suitable applicant is willing to work towards the qualification.

Duties of the role will include - personal care, meal preparation, shopping, light domestic, GP visits (anything that promotes independence and enables the service user to remain in their own home.)

Being a car owner & driver is essential  as the role will involve travelling from house to house.  Travel allowance is paid at 30p per mile.  A uniform tunic is also provided.

All applicants will be expected to be flexible, work alternate weekends and work one/two evening shifts every week, dependent on hours required.

We have a great team that care passionately for our service users, and we are looking for two like-minded individuals to join us. 

The company achieved a ‘Good’ rating in the most recent CQC Inspection.
