Oracle Field Services (OFS) Functional Consultant / Product Analyst - 6+ Month Contract

Paritas is working with a leading IT Consultancy who are looking to add some OFS Functional Consultant's to their team based in Reading.

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with clients to gather detailed business requirements in the form of user stories related to field service operations, provide mentorship on the structure and content of US’s & AC
• Write accurate Acceptance criteria on the user stories, along with relevant OFS OOTB solution inputs
• Support US estimation by adding accurate story points from a design, build, test & deployment perspective
• Creation of Task Catalogue
• Creation of an Integrated Workbook document

Documentation, Solution Design and Configuration:

• Write high-level solution design (HLD Document)
• Oracle FS solution configuration based on the solution design and user story AC

Implementation and Integration:

• Lead the implementation process, ensuring best practices and methodologies are followed.
• Support Oracle FS end Integration work i.e. Identification of the Integration touch points, integration US story capture, mapping and Oracle FS end configuration where relevant
• Demo the solution features, Sprint playbacks & PoC’s where relevant

What You'll Bring

• 3-5 years of previous experience with Microsoft AX and D365 software implementations, in the capacity of a Functional Consultant.
• Certification in Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate, Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate.
• Hands-on experience with large scale, D365 F&O implementations is required for this role
• Demonstrable functional expertise in Pricing, Trade & Logistics and/or Finance modules
• In-depth expertise on Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes
• Understanding of financial operations and processes, including Chart of Accounts, Accruals, and Journal entries
• Demonstrable business analysis experience

Job Summary

The Functional Consultant's main responsibility is to implement our revenue management applications into the customer's ERP e.g. Microsoft D365, SAP etc.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality business and software implementation expertise to client's customers and support the customers either on-site or remotely during the Analysis, Design, Build and Deploy stages of the engagement and post go live support.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for the functional analysis, design, testing and deployment of client's applications on both large and smaller scale ERP projects
• Leads requirements gathering, solution design and fit gap analysis with the business process owners and subject matter experts providing leadership in business process management activities
• Works closely with the implementation partner to ensure the design for the finance, accounting, order to cash, purchase to pay and related business operations are sound and work well with the solutions being implemented throughout the project as a whole
• Utilizes the client's Project Methodologies tailored to the customers
• Train and create documentation for subject matter experts on configuration and functionality
• Lead meetings and demonstrate the intended design
• Assist with data conversion and perform data migration activities
• Create and adhere to cutover tasks and schedule
• Act as a conduit between Customers and Client's Technical teams
• May work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Supports customer User Acceptance Testing, Deployment and Post Go live activities
• Maintain a high-level overview of consultancy competence and domain knowledge of ERP products

Role:

• Work directly with customers to document and validate their business requirements and map them to NetSuite functionality
• Work with the customer to configure and customise the NetSuite application to meet their individual business requirements
• Conduct sessions with the customer over the phone or in-person, attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables
• Provide customers with as needed consulting and general assistance, and be the 'go-to' resource for specific functional areas

This contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in configuring modules, workflows, business processes, reports, integrations as well as onboarding multiple newly acquired businesses onto the Workday platform.
