Salary: Competitive Salary £33,000 - £45,000 PA, Depending on Experience.
Location: Brentwood CM13.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift with overtime available.
About The Role:
The company are seeking a dedicated Bench Joiner/Cabinet-Maker to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in woodworking and joinery/cabinetry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various hand tools and machinery. Good knowledge in all materials and different types of wood. As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating bespoke cabinetry that meets their clients' specifications.
They will consider young candidates with basic knowledge and the right mindset, as well as a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities Include:
- Fabricate cabinets and furniture according to design specifications and client requirements li>Assemble components using appropriate joinery techniques to ensure durability and aesthetics
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during the fabrication and installation processes
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials
- Ensure all pieces are plumb, level, and properly aligned during assembly
- Conduct painting or finishing work to enhance the appearance of completed projects (optional)
- On-site installations around London
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role
- Knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to cabinet making
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) as required by the job
- Familiarity with painting techniques for finishing wood surfaces is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Must have the right to work in the UK

I am currently recruiting for a Joiner to work for one of the UK's leading Bespoke Manufactures.
The organisation has a fantastic background having been established for over 15 years. They are deemed the experts at what they do and have an unrivalled reputation in the market. They work on very interesting projects across Bespoke manufacturing of Furniture's. They employ over 22 people across the Lancashire area and are actively growing year on year.
To support the growth of the business and to be able to deal with the amount of work they have on going, a new role has come to fruition and they have the need to appoint a Cabinet Maker on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Cabinet Maker, you will be required to read technical drawings and create Bespoke Furniture which largely consists of Chairs, Cabinets, Tables and Side boards. Within this role you will be required to liaise with Project Managers to make sure Specifications are met and understand client needs.
Ideal Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year's experience as a Cabinet Maker/ Joiner / Chair Maker
- Bespoke Furniture background (Chair Making, Cabinets, Coffee Tables)
- Experience in using Veneer, Solid Woods, and Lacquer Oil
- Clear understanding of Jointing and gluing up processes
