As a Gas Appliance Engineer, you’ll be out on the road working alongside our Delivery Drivers. You’ll meet, and help out, lots of different customers every day, while enjoying the variety of a wide range of installation jobs. We’ll provide the training so you can set up an array of products, from the latest cookers to integrated white goods. And because customers are often excited to get their new products up and running, you earn plenty of thanks for a job well done.

●    Proven experience in installing gas cookers and ranges.

What you will do

As a Commercial Gas Engineer , you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of commercial gas appliances and systems. This includes:

• Unvented and instantaneous water heaters

• Domestic and commercial boilers

• Direct and indirect fired hot air heaters

• Gas safety checks on appliances and pipework installations

• Ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards

You will act as the primary technical contact for our clients, delivering reliable and efficient service while upholding our commitment to safety and quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience in commercial gas service and breakdown

• Proven experience working on a wide variety of boilers across commercial, industrial, and domestic environments

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial gas service, breakdown, or installation

• Essential trade qualifications:

  • COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A, CIGA1, COMCAT

  • CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CCCN1, CORT1, CPA1, HTR1, HWSS-R, DAH1, LPG

• J01 – desirable

• F-GAS 2079 certification – preferred but not essential

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region

• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and customer service

He/she will assist in making safe and/or repairing gas service pipes or mains, re-assessing previously visited escape, laying mains and/or services in diameter and carrying out mains / service isolations.You’ll need to have exceptional customer service skills, be extremely enthusiastic and have the ability to promote safe working practice, whilst driving efficiency and maintaining compliant ways of working.

• Attending gas leaks
• Groundwork Excavations and reinstatements
