Step into your boots and drive real impact in agriculture. We're on the lookout for a hands-on, self-starter to join our farm support squad. As a key player across our broiler operations in the Dungannon area, you'll be the driving force behind top-tier hygiene, flock health, and animal welfare—no two days will be the same, and your contribution will be felt from coop to countryside.
Your Mission:
- Suit up and lead biosecurity efforts—think pest control, swab tests, and staying one step ahead of disease.
- Support early flock placement and ensure our broiler sites run like clockwork.
- Deliver critical stock and equipment like a pro, keeping things moving and farms thriving.
- Log and track all activity using cutting-edge farm software , Labware).
- Be an extra set of eyes and ears on-site—flag issues, support investigations, and help keep our standards sky-high.
Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 5:15pm Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an important role within Maen Karne, with primary responsibility to:
- Operation of semi-automatic bagging equipment. Including pre-shift safety checks.
- Safe operation of Mobile Plant.

- Maintain good housekeeping procedure.
- Basic Maintenance, greasing and cleaning.
- Work in a safe manner, promoting the company's ambition of Zero Harm.
- Any other reasonable duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB:
- No previous experience of equipment is required as full training will be given.
- Strong Health and Safety awareness and commitment to achieving Zero Harm.
- Flexible approach to how working hours which will, on occasions include night shifts and weekend work.
- Excellent time keeping and punctuality.
- A Willingness to learn.
- An ability to integrate into an existing team.
- An ability to assess tasks and implement safety provisions prior to commencement.
- FLT License (Preferable).
