- Deliver high-quality solutions: Design, build, and continually improve software, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines for public and private sector clients, ensuring robustness and scalability. Projects may also include solutions with geospatial data, GIS platforms, and open-source mapping technologies.

Essential Skills
- 3+ years’ proven experience in a Full Stack Engineering role, with strong skills in .NET, Java or Python, plus modern JavaScript libraries.

- Strong understanding of architectural and design patterns, including serverless and microservices.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, using Scrum, Kanban and test-driven development (TDD).

As a UK Software Development Intern (Finance) you will be joining a small team responsible for developing and maintaining internal accounting and controlling web applications. You will write code, design and query databases, manage cloud services and technical compliance in a corporate environment. This year long placement covers all aspects of software development as well as providing you a grounding in the Finance domain, with a focus on learning and improve skills that will further your career development.
The team are currently located near Bournemouth; therefore you will need to live or be willing to relocate to the Bournemouth area to fulfil the requirements of this role. You will be expected to work from the Bournemouth office every Tuesday & Wednesday as a minimum.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Develop small/medium changes to applications across the full tech stack, reporting your progress in weekly development standups,
- Familiarise yourself with the existing application landscape, evaluating implementation against 'best practices' and writing automated tests to enshrine existing functionality,
- Providing a "support first" service, acting as first point of contact for application users and escalating common themes or pain points to the development team,
- Act as "first gate" for accepting requirements and incidents into the weekly standup, investigating the technical feasibility/root cause,
