Position: Help Desk Administrator
Location: Knowle, Bristol
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £25,500 based on a 37.5 hour week
We are looking for an experienced Help Desk Administrator for a full time, permanent position based in Knowle.
This position will be working within a team of Administrators that deal with the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance engineers throughout Bristol
The right person for this position will already have a strong administrative background with strong customer services skills. They need to be excellent communicators with experience talking to engineers and clients.
This is an administration position, however we would prefer this person to have some experience in co ordinating.
Requirements
- Strong Administration background
- Experience dealing with engineers would be an advantage
- Excellent IT skills
- Good communicator via phone and email
- Based in a commutable distance to Knowle
- Must be willing to work full time in the office. No remote working
- Experience in co ordinating would be a major advantage for this position

Qualifications / Experience:
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
You should hold an engineering-based academic qualification, such as a degree, diploma or certificate, in a relevant field of study.
You should have worked within the UK water industry for a minimum of 3 years, and have experience in water supply, wastewater treatment, or water quality management.
You should be PC and Microsoft Office competent, and able to use various software tools and applications for data analysis, report writing, and communication.
You should be willing to work in accordance with the company's Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies, and adhere to the best practices and standards of the industry.

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting up to Customer Service Advisors to join a team on a temporary basis. These roles are initially for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential to become permanent depending on performance and business needs.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be providing professional, high-quality email and live chat support to valued customers and partners. You'll also represent the brand across social media, ensuring every interaction reflects their commitment to outstanding customer care.
What we're looking for:
- Previous customer service experience (email, live chat, or social media preferred).
- Strong written communication skills.
- A proactive, friendly, and professional approach.
- Confidence using digital systems and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Information:
- The role is to start on Monday 18th August.
- Interviews will be held on the13th August 2025 between 6pm and 7pm.
- Training will be full-time in-office training for 2 weeks (Mon-Fri).
- This will exclude Monday 25th August as a bank holiday.
- Hours: 37.5 per week, 9:00am-5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch).
- Schedule After Training (From 1st Sept 2025) : 5 days out of 7, including one weekend day (preference for Sat or Sun can be noted, but not guaranteed).
