Our client is a leading player in the global mining sector and is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Exploration Geologist with a strong focus on data analysis. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying and evaluating potential mineral resource projects through the comprehensive analysis of geological data. Your responsibilities will include interpreting and modelling geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets, assessing resource potential, and contributing to the strategic direction of exploration programs. You will leverage advanced geological software and data analysis techniques to generate insights and recommendations. Collaboration with in-house geologists, geophysicists, and external consultants will be a key aspect of this role, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills despite the remote nature of the work. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mineral deposit formation, geological mapping, and resource estimation principles. A proven track record of successful exploration projects, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, is essential. You will be responsible for the quality and integrity of geological data and models, ensuring they meet industry standards. This role demands a proactive approach, the ability to work autonomously, and a passion for uncovering new mineral resources. - Strong understanding of mineral deposit types and exploration techniques.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with geological data management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
