**The Role**
As a **Senior Service Designer** at Tangity, you'll operate as a core member of agile, cross-functional teams delivering human-centred, end-to-end service experiences. You'll take ownership of your deliverables, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence.
You will lead service design activities with increasing autonomy-from framing challenges and planning research to developing holistic service models. You'll help shape design outcomes that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. You'll also begin to mentor junior team members, contribute to our internal service design practice, and support the development of our collective craft.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ Scope, plan, and lead service design activities across all phases of design and delivery
+ Conduct mixed-method user research (interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, surveys, etc.) to uncover user needs and pain points
+ Map and visualise services across layers (e.g. service blueprints, customer journeys, ecosystem maps, process diagrams) to reveal opportunities and drive alignment
+ Synthesise research insights and identify patterns using frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done, service safaris, personas, and value proposition canvases
+ Facilitate co-creation sessions, ideation workshops, and playback sessions with stakeholders and users
+ Prototype service components and touchpoints (e.g. scripts, flows, mock service experiences) to test desirability and feasibility
+ Translate insights into actionable service improvements, opportunity areas, and design recommendations
+ Communicate complex service concepts and journeys through compelling storytelling and artefacts
+ Embed accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout the service lifecycle
+ Support junior designers with feedback, encouragement, and guidance
+ Contribute to the ongoing development of Tangity's service design practice, methods, and tools

**What We're Looking For**
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in Service Design or a related discipline
+ Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end service design capability across sectors or domains
+ Confident in applying human-centred design principles and inclusive design practices
+ Experienced in mapping services, synthesising insights, and facilitating collaborative workshops
+ Proficient in communicating design concepts visually and verbally to stakeholders
+ Familiar with agile environments and working in multidisciplinary product teams
+ Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design methods
+ Strong written and verbal English communication skills
+ Exposure to Government Digital Service (GDS) and service standards
+ Experience working in or with the UK public sector

Key job responsibilities

Lead a team of Sales Operations Managers and analysts to Develop key sales support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue attainment and market segment development objectives

Partner closely with the Sales Leadership to report, analyze and measure progress against goals.

Develop relationships and work with sales, partner, sales operations, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive strategic programs.

Lead the local planning process and run the operational cadence of activities, such as Quarterly and Monthly business reviews, Segmentation, Territory/Account Planning, Operational Planning and Offsite strategy workshops.

In this multifaceted, customer-focused role, you will be a core part of the Account Team working closely with Cisco Account Executives, and you will rely on an extended network of technical resources, product specialists and Cisco Engineering to acquire in-depth technical and specialist support. **Your Impact**
As a pre-sales Solutions Engineer for the defence sector. In this customer-facing role your aim will be to establish key relationships with both Business and Technical decision makers within the customer base aligning Cisco's product and Services portfolio to customer's needs and requirements.
+ You will lead with Cisco's mission and strategy, be familiar with lifecycle selling and customer's buying models, and will work across a wide variety of Cisco technologies. As a technical leader for your designated customer organisation, will work closely with the core account team and wider resources, and will translate Cisco's strategies and initiatives into a strategic plan for your customers.
+ You will conduct technical presentations, showcase Cisco enterprises solutions and services, set up demonstrations explaining features and benefits to your customers. You will support customers and partners with Bill of Materials and RFP/RFI responses.
+ You will articulate business value of Cisco's solutions, explain technical concepts and subjects to a variety of audience levels and technical backgrounds, leading with software-based value selling.
+ This is a customer facing role that requires frequent travel, on average 60% travel time.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ You have 8+ years of technical customer-facing experience; preferably pre-sales, or post-sales adoption and implementation.
+ Customer engagement and technical knowledge in at least three of these areas: Enterprise Routing, Service provider Routing, IoT, Network automation and orchestration, Campus networking, Data Centre and Cloud Technologies; On-Prem and Cloud Security; Collaboration.
+ Cisco Professional-level certification (or industry equivalent).
+ Experience with relevant Cisco technology or solutions of relevant competitors.

Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco's flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco's Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
