The Candidate

The successful Test Engineer will have:

• 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, inspection, assembly, or service engineering.

The role:

As a Test Engineer in the Test Department, you will report to the Test Engineering Manager and be responsible for testing electro-optical-mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems. Your duties will include conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) using standard test equipment, fault-finding electromechanical equipment, and assisting in creating test procedures and documentation. Our Client is a technical solutions provider who can provide a fully-integrated solution to any Customers applicable Requirement.

The Role

The successful applicant will be required to test, fault-find and repair electronic and mechanical products down to component level, using and following test specifications and circuit diagrams. Ideally, you will have previous experience within the defence and aerospace industry combined with some knowledge of the various standards that support these.

The work will include the following:

Inspection, Test and fault finding in a timely fashion.

Produce Investigation Reports such as 8D and Five whys.

Offering technical assistance to internal and external parties if required.

Ensure documentation is correct in line with company requirements.
