Our client, a highly respected and impactful charity, is seeking an experienced Senior Grant Writer to join their fully remote fundraising team. This critical role will focus on researching, developing, and writing compelling grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. You will be instrumental in driving the organization's mission forward by securing the financial resources necessary for its programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills, with a proven track record of success in grant writing within the non-profit sector. Responsibilities include identifying suitable funding opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential funders, and crafting persuasive proposals that clearly articulate the charity's impact and needs. You will work closely with program staff to gather necessary information, ensure proposal accuracy, and manage the submission process. Experience with grant management software and a deep understanding of the fundraising landscape are essential. As a remote-first position, strong self-discipline, excellent time management, and proficiency in virtual collaboration tools are paramount. - Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in grant writing for non-profit organizations.
- Proven success in securing grants from diverse funding sources.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with grant research databases and proposal management software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
