LOCATION: Stansted Airport
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 2 off
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
SALARY: £27,922 per annum

Ryanair/Blue Handling are currently recruiting Baggage/Aircraft Handlers to join our Ground Operations Team at
Stansted Airport. We have recently announced our largest summer schedule with a record 50 based aircraft.
At our largest European hub, in 2025 we are now recruiting staff to provide all the required under-wing ground support services for our operation ready for our biggest ever summer schedule at Stansted Airport.
These are exciting roles at the forefront of our Stansted operation in a financially secure airline, working in teams to deliver a range of critical services to our aircraft and passengers.
These roles are all full time and permanent positions, successful candidates will be working as part of a large team to ensure that our flights depart on-time and our passengers are happy with the service. No previous airport experience is required as our fantastic training team will prepare you for your new role with both classroom and practical. This role is ideal if you want to kickstart your career in aviation. NB. This is a shift-based role with shifts around the airport opening times and busy flight schedule (early starts, evenings, weekends and holidays)

Duties include;
• Loading and unloading of baggage & service freight from Ryanair Group aircraft
• Operation of vehicles around the airport to transport baggage to/from the main terminal.
• Carrying out aircraft push-backs using state of the art machinery
• Ensure the airline's industry leading 25-minute turnarounds are completed
• Assist passengers during boarding where needed
• Act as a team player and work effectively with your team
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety protocols
Requirements;
• Self-starter, motivated and eager to learn
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK

• Full UK drivers’ license
Successful candidates will be required to complete a full 5-year background check in order to obtain an airport ID.

A vacancy has arisen within our Customer Services Department, based in Campbeltown. Reporting to the Station Manager Campbeltown, the successful candidate will be proactive, helpful to passengers and dedicated to providing a robust and safe operation.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Agents have a wide range of duties including:
Checking passengers in for flights
Ensuring security protocols are adhered to
Answer passenger queries when flights have been cancelled/delayed
Arrange alternative transport/accommodation as required and
Provide telephone ticketing sales support
Occasional lone working may be required, particularly during Sunday summer flights or when staff absences (e.g. sickness or leave) coincide

Training and Experience
Previous experience in customer service (preferably in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment such as aviation, hospitality, or retail) is highly desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience in ramp operations or ground handling is an advantage, though on-the-job training will be given for all ramp duties.
Basic IT skills are required for check-in, boarding, and other customer service-related tasks.
Ability to pass security clearance checks, including background checks and references, is essential due to the sensitive nature of airport operations.
Health and safety training related to ramp duties, manual handling, and operating machinery will be provided during induction.
Full training will be provided for both the customer service and ramp aspects of the role to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
