The Role
We are looking for a Public Health Engineer to work on some of the world’s most high-profile and ambitious projects, collaborating with leading architects and engineers to push the boundaries of sustainable building design. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop calculations, schematics, models, and specifications.
- Support project coordination and contribute to specific design areas.
- Collaborate closely with architects to achieve seamless integration of engineering and design.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and Foster + Partners procedures.
- Stay engaged in continuous professional development (CPD) and champion equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across all workstreams.
Skills & Experience
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards Chartered status).
- Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of Public Health Engineering in building services.
- Knowledge of UK building standards (CIBSE, British Standards, ISO, BSRIA, CIPHE) a plus.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other relevant design tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Understanding of the financial aspects of running a design project on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of Fire Protection systems and LEED/environmental assessment methods is a plus.

This is a new and exciting fixed-term role offering unique opportunities for an experienced advanced nurse practitioner, to support the development, implementation and establishment of a pilot service to test a new neurodiversity (ND) service model for children and young people (CYP) across several South East London (SEL) boroughs. This is initially a 12-month pilot, with the potential to extend to 18 months.
The aim is to test a new multi-borough ND support and assessment model, facilitating a reduction in the longest waits for ADHD and ASD assessment across SEL. The Hub will:
Responsibilities- offer a single point of access and a dual diagnostic pathway (where required) for assessment
- pilot the use of an ND insight profiling tool to inform assessment and identify support needs
- offer relevant support and workshops to CYP and their families whilst waiting
- develop a community/primary care medication pathway for ADHD medication initiation, titration and reviews
- manage a defined caseload of children and young people with ADHD and co-occurring conditions, promoting community-based, person-centred care in accordance with national guidelines and Trust policy
- engage with clients and carers across a range of settings, assessing and managing risks associated with lone working and the care environment
- communicate clinical risks clearly and sensitively to families and professionals, particularly in emotionally charged or complex situations
- to work in partnership with patient and Designated Medical Prescriber (DMP) or Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) to fulfil the role of non-medical prescriber
- to work collaboratively with the DMP or DPP, patient and carers to produce patient centred clinical management plans for prescribing where applicable
- work collaboratively with DMP or DPP patient and carers to communicate prescribing decisions, clinical rationales and treatment plans
- safely prescribe and monitor ADHD medications as an independent prescriber, in line with legal, national, and local guidelines, and in consultation with medical colleagues where required

The Hub team will be multi-disciplinary, including community paediatrics, psychiatry, GP, speech & language therapy, nursing and psychology, with associate neurodiversity practitioner roles being developed to focus on needs led support. The team will be led by a Clinical Team Lead, with support from the Programme Manager and the Clinical Programme Lead. The ND hub will work closely with colleagues across a range of services, including CAMHS and transitional pathways to adult services.
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be a senior autonomous clinician working within the SEL CYP ND Hub. The post holder will have completed postgraduate training in Advanced Clinical Practice and will demonstrate expertise across the four pillars of advanced practice: Clinical Practice, Leadership, Education, and Research. This role requires the application of high-level knowledge, independent clinical judgment, and practice-based experience to support children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs, with a primary focus of ADHD. This role requires the ANP to be an independent prescriber and experience of ADHD assessment is essential to this role.
The post holder will be operationally managed by the Clinical Team Lead and will receive professional support from a named nurse. Regular communication with other health professional colleagues and education partners is integral to the role.

- Joining the NLFS consultant group in assessing new external referrals to the service, averaging 9 per year for full time job plans.
- Supporting the Trust’s Clinical Governance Framework for monitoring and improving standards of care through taking part in activities for improving quality and safety, assisting with NHS PSIRF process, identifying and managing risks within the service, as well as maintaining his or her own continuing professional development.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented professional to take ownership of vital medical workforce processes, including appraisal compliance, honorary contracts, and recruitment coordination. The post holder will independently manage key medical workforce processes.
This role requires interpreting Trust and national policies, ensuring compliance, and providing specialist guidance to stakeholders. The post holder will support accurate data analysis, reporting, and decision‑making, acting as a subject matter expert while maintaining excellent communication and organisational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Manage core medical workforce processes, including medical appraisal compliance, honorary contracts, and recruitment coordination, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Trust policies.
- Provide administrative support for new starters, pre‑employment checks, and maintain accurate records on Trust systems such as TRAC and ESR.
- Act as the first point of contact for medical workforce enquiries, managing appraisal and honorary inboxes, providing guidance, and ensuring timely responses.
- Coordinate and monitor appraisal and revalidation processes, including scheduling, compliance tracking, and supporting doctors and managers.
- Process honorary and observer contracts, ensuring completion of pre‑employment checks and updating relevant systems.
- Support the end‑to‑end recruitment process for medical staff using TRAC, liaising with recruiting managers, managing communications, and ensuring compliance with NHS and Trust standards.
- Monitor and manage exception reporting, liaising with relevant parties to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality, work collaboratively within the team, and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Participate in relevant projects and support system upgrades as required.
