Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) for its client based in Hillingdon.
To deliver a high-quality, integrated mental health service in line with statutory responsibilities under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007), Care Act 2014, and other relevant legislation. The AMHP will undertake assessments and interventions to support individuals experiencing mental health crises, ensuring their rights and needs are upheld while managing risks effectively.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Coordinate and undertake assessments under the Mental Health Act, making decisions about compulsory admission and treatment.
- Conduct safeguarding enquiries and develop protection plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
- Assess needs under the Care Act, develop care plans, and review support arrangements.
- Provide emergency mental health assessments and interventions, including out-of-hours support as part of the AMHP duty rota.

To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
