We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist / Foot Health Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating foot and ankle ailments, providing medical care, and promoting overall foot health.
*Duties*
- Conduct foot and ankle examinations
- Diagnose and treat various foot conditions such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and fungal infections
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary
- Prescribe orthotics or medication for foot-related issues
- Educate patients on proper foot care practices
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses and treatment plans
- Utilise IT systems for patient record keeping
*Experience*
- Must be proficient in English to effectively communicate with patients

- Collaborate with other practitioners within the retreat to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care.
- Contribute to the development of new wellness programs and services offered by the retreat.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and patient safety.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, fostering a supportive and healing environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in providing acupuncture treatments.
- Professional registration with a relevant regulatory body (e.g., British Acupuncture Council).
- Proven experience in holistic health coaching, nutritional advice, or other complementary therapies is highly desirable.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathise, listen, and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate client records.
- A genuine passion for promoting health and wellness through natural and holistic methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends, to accommodate client needs.
