**Responsibilities**
+ Use your AI and research expertise to provide clinical leadership to teams across Google, contributing both to overarching direction as well as to individual product and research roadmaps.
+ Use clinical and domain expertise to provide clinical leadership, guidance, insights and direction on Google's health-focused AI research projects, working in an embedded model with research, engineering, UX/UXR, product and partnerships teams.
+ Identify relevant clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and use cases related to the development and evaluation of AI models and use these to influence research and product development.
+ Respond to the needs of the business and projects prioritizing effort effectively; work in a portfolio environment to bring your expertise to a range of endeavors.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of multiple clinical trials related to mental health conditions.
- Recruit, screen, and consent participants, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Manage participant data accurately and securely, maintaining detailed case report forms (CRFs) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
- Monitor participant progress, manage appointments, and ensure compliance with study visits and assessments.
- Administer study-specific interventions or collect biological samples as per protocol.
- Liaise with principal investigators, sub-investigators, ethics committees, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure all study activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and relevant national and international regulations.
- Maintain study documentation and regulatory files, ensuring they are up-to-date and audit-ready.
- Participate in site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits, often remotely.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior research staff as needed.
- Contribute to study design, protocol development, and manuscript preparation.
- Manage communication flow between study sites, sponsors, and research teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Nursing, Biology, or Health Sciences. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Clinical Research Coordinator, with a significant portion dedicated to mental health research.
- In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
- Experience with various mental health assessment tools and diagnostic criteria (e.g., DSM-5).
- Proficiency in using EDC systems and other clinical trial management software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse participant populations.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and troubleshoot issues proactively in a remote setting.
- Experience with remote patient monitoring and telehealth platforms is beneficial.
- Certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRC) or equivalent is highly desirable.

About the roleThis Research Associate position is in development and application of chemical profiling methods in environmental samples utilising state-of-the-art hyphenated chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques as well as building a One Health platform for environmental and public health assessment. This position will be based in Environmental Chemistry and CWBE at the University of Bath.
About you- You will hold a PhD in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated significant depth and breadth of specialist knowledge of subject matter to contribute to research programmes and to the development of departmental research activities.
- Proven awareness of latest developments in the field of research and in research design
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet required deadlines
This position is offered on a full time (36.5 hours) fixed term contract until 2030.
