Job Description
As a Health Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering L1-L3 courses and supporting the wellbeing and personal development of learners. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that cover a wide range of health-related topics, such as nutrition, mental health, personal safety, relationships, and healthy lifestyle choices.
The role involves not only teaching knowledge but also inspiring positive habits, resilience, and self-awareness in students. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the school/college to ensure health education is integrated into the wider curriculum and supports the safeguarding and wellbeing agenda.

What You Will Do
Develop and deliver high-quality lessons in health education (e.g. nutrition, physical wellbeing, Anatomy and Physiology , substance awareness, lifestyle choices).
Use a range of teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
Integrate safeguarding, personal development, and inclusivity into curriculum delivery.
Encourage positive behaviour and attitudes towards health and wellbeing.
Monitor, assess, and record student progress
Provide feedback that supports student development and achievement.
Prepare students for internal and/or external assessments as required.
Teaching qualification
Degree or relevant qualification in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, Biology, Physical Education, or related field.
Experience teaching or training in health-related subjects.
Strong understanding of adolescent development, safeguarding, and wellbeing

You will be responsible for providing expert advice to farmers and land managers, developing tailored crop management plans, conducting field trials, and promoting best practices to enhance crop yield, quality, and environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive soil analysis and develop soil fertility management plans.
- Diagnose and provide recommendations for pest, disease, and weed control.
- Advise on optimal crop nutrition programs and fertilizer application strategies.
- Develop and implement integrated crop management plans for various agricultural systems.
- Design and manage field trials to evaluate new crop varieties, treatments, and technologies.
- Promote and implement sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.
- Provide technical support and training to farm managers and agricultural workers.
- Stay updated on the latest research, regulations, and best practices in agronomy and soil science.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in practical agronomy, with a focus on soil science and crop health.
- In-depth knowledge of soil chemistry, physics, and biology.
- Expertise in crop physiology, pest and disease management, and sustainable agriculture.
- Experience with field trial design and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of agricultural machinery and modern farming techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a field-based environment.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across the region.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., Agronomy Society) is advantageous.
