Our client is actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Lead to oversee the clinical services within their residential care facility, operating on a fully remote basis. This unique role requires a highly motivated individual to provide leadership and guidance to a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional person-centred care. The Clinical Lead will be instrumental in maintaining high clinical standards, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices. This is a pivotal role for a leader dedicated to improving the lives of residents and supporting their care teams.

- Provide clinical leadership and direction to the nursing and care staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualised care plans, ensuring they meet the holistic needs of residents.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including risk assessments, and ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
- Manage and monitor medication administration, ensuring adherence to safe practices and protocols.
- Lead on infection control strategies and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals, providing clear and compassionate communication.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, professional standards, and company policies.
- Supervise, support, and mentor the clinical team, facilitating professional development and performance management.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of new clinical staff.
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, including audits and reviews, to drive service improvement.
- Manage the clinical budget effectively and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Champion resident well-being and dignity at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin and significant post-registration experience.
- Proven experience in a leadership or senior role within a care setting, such as a care home or hospital.
- Demonstrable understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and CQC standards (or equivalent Scottish Care Inspectorate standards).
- Excellent clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- Strong knowledge of medication management and infection control procedures.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in using electronic care planning systems and other relevant healthcare IT.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
- Ability to manage and delegate effectively in a remote supervisory capacity.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
