• Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) in a safe, efficient, and legal manner, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Adhere to all tachograph regulations and working time directives.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption, coordinating with the dispatch team.
• Ensure all goods are loaded and unloaded securely and accurately according to instructions.
• Provide guidance and support to junior drivers, sharing best practices in driving techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.
• Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during transit, such as delays or vehicle problems.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and ensure the vehicle interior is kept tidy.

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.

• Proven experience as an HGV driver, with a clean driving record.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
