Role overview:

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:  
●    Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time.
●    Installing a range of different products for our customers.
●    Making every customer encounter memorable.
●    Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role.

 
Yes, you’ll need to love driving and being on the road, but you’ll need to love helping customers too. Our training will cover both state-of-the-art-tech and people skills as well – it’s all about equipping you to leave a smile on customers’ faces.

You will need:
●    A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
●    CPC card (and ideally) Tachograph card.
●    A passion for delivering great customer service.
●    The ability to handle heavy stock.

Driver LGV (C1) - Surrey (KT19 9XS) - Plumb Centre

As a LGV Driver (C1) based in Surrey, you’ll be responsible for:  

• Driving a 7.5T lorry delivering plumbing and heating products to our customers (This will involve manual handling heavy stock including boilers, radiators, toilets and skinks)

• Delivery region will cover Surrey to London and West Sussex

• Carrying out roughly 2 - 12 deliveries a day to our customers which include building sites, social housing sites, private residences and commercial businesses

• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects

• Providing excellent customer service at all times

• Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 06.00am - 3.00pm.

• Full UK Driving License and HGV Licence (Category C license)

• Driver Qualification Card (CPC)

• Digital Tachograph Card
