Key Responsibilities
As a Race Car Technician, your duties will include:
Building, servicing, and maintaining our diesel-powered race cars to the highest standard.
Leading and supporting other technicians in the motorsport workshop and during race events.
Ensuring consistent build quality in line with technical documentation and race specifications.
Diagnosing issues and fitting non-standard or performance parts during prep and race conditions.
Managing workshop organisation and logistics for both pre- and post-race operations.
Keeping accurate technical records, including parts fitted, repairs carried out, and component changes.
Attending all race and test events, providing full trackside support and assistance.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless race weekend execution.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment.
Requirements
We value skills over qualifications. Motorsport engineering experience essential, with a minimum of 3 years working in high-performance environments. BMW/VAG knowledge beneficial but not required - your mechanical aptitude and passion for racing are what matter most. Must have UK driving licence and eligibility to work in UK/EU. A background in competitive racing environments and ability to perform under pressure will set you apart.
Benefits
Salary range 36,000-42,000 including bonus scheme based on 42.5 hours with opportunities for trackside action. Benefits package includes pension contribution, health insurance - REMOVE, tool allowance, and paid accommodation during race weekends.
