Carrington West is working with a leading name in the highways sector to recruit a Highway Design Engineer for their highways contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a long-term contract delivering key infrastructure projects.
The Role
As a Highway Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality design solutions for the maintenance and improvement of highway infrastructure. Working within a collaborative team, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
·Producing design packages, reports, and technical deliverables to achieve project objectives.
·Conducting site visits and surveys to gather essential project data.
·Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
·Complying with Health & Safety and Environmental legislation throughout project delivery.
·Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including sub-consultants, to achieve project goals.

Requirements

·Knowledge of programming tools such as ASTA.
