Learn more about us: 【Job Details】 Job Title: JD WorldWide Strategy Associate Location: London, UK Key Responsibilities: Support the identification and structuring of 3-5 year growth opportunities by conducting research, data analysis, and document preparation for strategic planning initiatives. Assist in monitoring market trends and competitor strategies, supporting the preparation of regular update reports for strategic decision-making, for existing and new markets. Contribute to the development of business cases for new initiatives by gathering and analysing data, creating presentations, and summarising market and strategic fit analysis. Provide administrative and operational support for the establishment of international business collaboration mechanisms, including organising meetings, preparing materials, and tracking follow-up actions. Support the maintenance of stakeholder relationships by preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items. Begin to build and develop own network to support team's access and insights. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking or strategic planning in global corporates. Background in and passion for retail, consumer, logistics and eCommerce preferred. A problem-solving disposition with strong data analytics and research skills complemented by excellent attention to detail. Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data to drive insights, structuring your own research plan and executing it with guidance from seniors. Ability to convert data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. Experience creating reports, memos and presentations (PPT, Word, Excel) including with data visualisation (charts, models, tables). Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with senior internal and external clients and stakeholders. Organized, enthusiastic and hard-working, with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting project management, including tracking deliverables and follow-ups to ensure timely delivery. Proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn and work across collaborative, cross-functional projects and teams. Fluent in English (written and verbal), with strong communication skills to collaborate across teams. Chinese language is an asset, as are other European languages.
