We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Room attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. You will also address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. If you’re interesting in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.
Responsibilities
* Change bed linen and make beds
* Replace used towels
* Sweep and mop floors
* Vacuum carpets
* Dust furniture
* Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
* Clean public areas, like corridors
* Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
* Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
* Help guests retrieve lost items
* Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
* Follow hotel security guidelines
Requirements
* Work experience as a Room Attendant
* Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
* Good physical health and stamina
* Flexibility to work in shifts
* Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards

**About the Role**
Our Housekeeping Team have new opportunities for Room Attendants to join us, as we embark on an exciting and busy high season. Reporting into our Housekeeping Manger, you'll ensure our suites and public areas are cleaned and presented to the highest standard, creating a magical stay for our guests.
Duties and responsibilities
+ Review Assignment sheets for any VIP's, or special requests.
+ Ensure all suites are cleaned & presented to the highest standard
+ Complying with all 5 Red star standards
+ Follow instruction and daily schedules from Housekeeping Manager, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
+ Have a full knowledge of our Fire and Safety procedures
+ Provide exceptional service to all guests
+ Fully knowledgeable of personal procedures and their role as it relates to hotel policies and procedures.
**About you**
You'll be an enthusiastic, organised and hard-working individual, who can follow instructions to work independently but can also work well as part of a team. You'll also be a confident communicator who prides themselves of providing excellent customer service. Although recent relevant working experience is preferred, we offer full training for this role.
