BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker based in Carlisle with travel to other sites.
You will be working with vulnerable young people in a hostel setting helping them with support around housing applications, tenancies and job and education opportunities.
The duties include but are not limited too.
· To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required for their tenancy to be maintained – including any signposting required. This must be reviewed on a regular basis.
· To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy, or others – this must be reviewed on a regular basis.
· To provide information, advice, and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.
