  • Ideally you will have started your CIPD qualifications, however, this is not essential criteria.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels and communicate with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders.

Experience/Knowledge

  • Advise and support managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and conditions of service (local and national)
  • Provide case management support, including investigations, hearings, and complex employee relations matters
  • Partner with managers to address absence, conduct, performance, and grievance cases
  • Contribute to organisational development, resourcing, talent management, and employee experience initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, codes of practice, and internal policies
  • Promote best practice, positive employee relations, and organisational effectiveness


Essential Skills & Experience

  • CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered CIPD Membership
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Proven generalist HR experience supporting managers on complex cases
  • Background across multiple HR functions (OD, employee relations, resourcing, talent management)
  • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office
  • Excellent communication, consultancy, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and resilience when handling conflict/sensitive matters
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with flexibility to travel across sites
