An exciting start up business (media and creative sector), is looking for a HR Business Partner to join its developing HR function.
Whilst this is a start up business, it is a newly formed business from within a very successful and established group of businesses. This should not be viewed as a risky business to join – its plan for growth is obvious for all to see.
Reporting to the Head of People, this role will act as the Head of Peoples number two and will likely supervise a HR Advisor.
Duties will develop as the business and the role evolves. Right now, the firm is in start up mode – everything from contracts, policies, structures, benefits are being worked on and implemented. As processes are set up and more people arrive, the role will move into business partnering line manages and some heads of functions to assist them in meeting their commercial goals.
To apply to this exciting opportunity you should be a HR Business Partner (possibly Manager), who is looking for a role that can help to shape something new. It is expected that you will be CIPD qualified and that you will have gained your experience in commercial, private sector employers. You should have a generalist skill set which has gained experience of managing employee relations issues and working with managers through growth and change.
Experience of new or changing environments will be viewed very positively. It would be highly beneficial if you have gained experience of working in environments that have utilised seasonal and temporary workforces. Experience of supporting creative, media and production related staff would be beneficial. You should have a generalist skills set and ideally have experience of TUPE. Experience of working with SAP is an advantage.
