**Role Summary:**
- Deliver reactive mechanical maintenance and repairs on-site, within agreed SLAs
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks aligned to compliance schedules
- Undertake mechanical repairs and replacements across pumps, pipework, fan coil units, AHUs, valves, and general plant room equipment

- Solid working knowledge of building services systems, mechanical plant operations, and fault diagnosis
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a static team environment
- Familiarity with health & safety legislation and mechanical maintenance compliance

Our client is a well-established HVAC contractor specialising in the installation, service, and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their service and maintenance team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, multi-splits, VRV/VRF, and ventilation units. Work will be carried out at client sites such as offices, retail spaces, schools, hospitality venues, and manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and rectify faults quickly and efficiently
- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) visits to agreed schedules
- Work on a range of systems, including VRV/VRF, split, and multi-split systems
- Ensure all work meets current health & safety and F-Gas regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Complete job sheets, reports, and paperwork accurately and on time
- Participate in an on-call rota as required (with additional pay)
Requirments
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
