Senior Hydraulic Engineer - up to 55,000 + private health care - East Anglia
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of hydraulic-powered machinery. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in hydraulic systems and a background in manufacturing. The position involves both workshop-based build.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and assemble hydraulic power packs and associated systems
Work with pumps, manifolds, valves, pipework, and hydraulic controls
Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical schematics
Support site acceptance testing (SAT) and commissioning activities
Collaborate with internal teams including production and electrical
Travel to customer sites as required (rare)
What We're Looking For:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering
CETOP IH2 minimum, IH3 preferred (or equivalent MH2/MH3 certification)
5+ years' experience working with hydraulic systems
Familiarity with electrical systems and industrial controls
Experience in industrial, marine, mobile, or offshore hydraulics
Some experience in fabrication and welding is beneficial

They are looking for a Hydraulic Systems Engineer to join the team and work alongside the Lead Hydraulic systems Engineer to contribute to this pioneering work. Your role will be instrumental to the design, validation and testing of hydraulic systems for a wide range of state-of-the-art projects. These projects cater for varying industries with unique sets of requirements but always retain one common goal, to decarbonise the marine industry.
Hydraulics System Engineer Role:
- Collaborate with a small, dynamic team of engineers to develop systems for commercial, leisure and shipping sectors of the Marine Industry. li>Design and specification of hydraulic systems from producing schematics to 3D modelling and manufacturing drawings of manifolds and other components.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Are you a Mechanical Service Engineer from a Hydraulics background looking to join a company offering fantastic training and development, so you can become a specialist Centrifuge engineer?

In this role, you will be working across the UK and Ireland maintaining, installing and commissioning industrial pumps, rotating machinery and centrifuges within the utility, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
