The Vacancy We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Group IBA Business MI Analyst to join our team at JMG Group. This role is central to providing key management information and oversight to support CASS governance, enhance debtor collection processes, and improve query resolution across the business. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting acquisition integration and driving performance efficiency within our IBA teams. Working closely with Group Client Money Managers, you will gather, analyse, and present monthly statistical reports to stakeholders including the RMD and local business MDs. Your insights will help improve financial transparency, team productivity, and operational decision-making across the group. Key responsibilities: Design, build, develop, and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights to IBA and business stakeholders. Utilise data visualisation techniques to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Collaborate with Client Money Managers to ensure database accuracy and timely reporting aligned with business requirements. Support the Finance Director in producing governance reports in compliance with CASS5 regulatory requirements. Deliver regular and ad hoc management information (MI) to assess the integration and performance of newly acquired businesses. Ensure smooth onboarding of acquisitions into group IBA reporting systems with accuracy and completeness. Create exception reports to detect data anomalies and maintain data integrity. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure analysis is understood, trusted, and effectively used. Partner with colleagues to define and refine reporting structures that best serve the business’s evolving needs. Qualifications/Experience : Strong numerical aptitude Proven experience in analysing large, complex datasets and presenting meaningful insights Proficient in using databases, spreadsheets, and visualisation tools to produce business analysis. Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computing, or related field — or equivalent professional experience. Technical Skills Essential Strong Excel skills, including Power Query. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy. Skilled in translating complex data into actionable insights. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels. Excellent time management and organisational abilities. Desirable Familiarity with the insurance sector Knowledge of CASS5 FCA regulations. As a Business Analyst, you will provide data-driven insights into client profitability and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Client Profitability Analysis

  • Develop and maintain models to assess the profitability of individual clients.

Operational Efficiency
