Hawk 3 Solutions are on the hunt for a curious and driven Data Reporting Analyst to help smarten data led decisions. Our client is a busy and growing car wholesale company operating across the West Midlands, supplying high-quality vehicle parts to both trade and retail customers. They operate across multiple sites and manage a large, constantly changing inventory across their website, warehouse, and eBay sales channels.
They are looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy Digital Operations – Data, IT and Warehouse Support Assistant to help manage digital systems, product data, and assist with warehouse operations. This is a varied and practical role, ideal for someone who is equally comfortable working at a computer or on the warehouse floor.
Role Overview:
This role supports the smooth running of our digital systems and stock operations. You’ll help upload and manage product data, maintain the website and eBay listings, support IT functionality across the business, and assist with warehouse stock tasks such as re-binning and stock takes. You’ll also help identify and implement ways to use AI and tech tools to improve efficiency.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital & Data Entry:
- Upload and maintain price files, part numbers, and product descriptions on the company website.
- Monitor and update supplier prices and discontinued lines.
- Support eBay sales – including uploading new items and managing weekend orders and queries (on a rota).
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of product data across all digital platforms.
IT & Systems Support:
- Assist with basic IT support across the business – including email setups, equipment issues, and escalating tickets to our external provider.
- Help maintain functionality of the warehouse’s IT systems – including barcode scanners, label printers, and stock software.
- Trial and suggest AI tools or digital solutions to streamline internal processes (e.g. using automation or data tools to reduce manual tasks).
Warehouse Operations Support:
- Assist with regular stock takes and audits.
- Help with re-binning parts and maintaining accurate location records.
- Promote and support best practice in warehouse organisation, including clear labelling, stock system accuracy, and tidy working areas.
- Support team communication between warehouse and office to ensure smooth operation.
Shift pattern:
- 9.30-17.30 – Monday Friday
- Alternate Saturdays 9-4
- Once Sunday per month 10-1pm – with that following Friday as 2.30pm finish
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Confident IT user – especially Excel and general digital systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Willingness to support warehouse duties as well as office-based work.
- Flexible and practical approach – including availability to support weekend eBay work.
- Strong communicator, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of car parts or experience in a similar automotive/retail environment.
- Experience with website platforms (e.g. WooCommerce, Magento, or similar).
- Familiarity with eBay seller tools.
- Experience using or interest in AI tools or digital automation.
- Understanding of stock management processes and warehouse operations.
