Brief

My client is looking for two experienced Lead IBM ACE Engineers to join on a 6-month basis to oversee delivery of major enterprise integration programmes.

Project 1: Lead integration for the ACE Integration (BRIDGE) programme

Project 2: Lead integration for the IBM MDM solution, replacing the current SaaS platform

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee ACE integration across enterprise systems, including IBM MDM and Guidewire
  • Provide technical direction, frameworks, and best practice guidance to onshore and offshore external resources
  • Provide quality checks across the development team, providing guidance on work and frameworks to implement and focusing on the general overseeing of projects ensuring they're completed to a high standard

Required Skills

  • Strong technical background in IIB / ACE integration solutions - with expertise in design, code management, and monitoring
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrable track record in leading integration projects , with responsibility for oversight, quality assurance, and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to coordinate multiple streams of work across onshore and offshore teams.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Azure integration tools (Logic Apps, Function Apps, APIM, ADF)
  • ACE Gateway API Manager

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in software development, with a significant focus on the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in leading software development teams and managing projects.
  • Deep understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, V-Model).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
