Role Summary
The role of a Customer Support Analyst is varied. It includes the day-to-day management and resolution of support calls, being involved in customer implementation work and supporting other internal business departments as required.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Respond to and follow up customer support calls (1st, 2nd and 3rd line support)
- Identify, diagnose and resolve customer and project issues / requests
- Support and be involved in customer project work as needed
- Update internal systems with regards to work activity and any required documentation
Key Tasks
- To investigate reported incidents/problems with BCP packages
- To provide help and advice to customers in the use of BCP package software
- Self-education within required application areas to a high standard
- To ensure customers are informed of progress on all issues
- To manage and prioritise own outstanding issues list
- Application deployment and implementation tasks carried out both remotely and on site
Additional Duties
- Liaise with internal departments to progress projects and or the resolution of customer issues
- Undertake customer project work under the guidance of project managers and implementers
- Be required to work on customers’ sites from time to time including but not limited to training sessions and system run throughs
- Be required to provide out of hours telephone support for customers from time to time
- Perform other duties from time to time as required
Qualifications and experience
- PC literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Must live within an hour's drive of Stockport

Our Technical / Quality team are a very important team when it comes to Morrisons Manufacturing. It's down to them to ensure we're legally compliant from a food safety point of view. Our sites are super busy, ever-demanding and our standards are high - keeping our Technical team busy every day.
Reporting to the Shift Technical Manager, you will:
- Monitor, control and audit the production process li>Ensure that conformity and non-conformity are communicated, followed up and closed off.
- Investigate any food safety incidents applying root cause analysis and ensure that the day to day site technical function is achieved < i>Support the site management team during any external accreditation such as BRC and Morrisons manufacturing standards
- Ensure that the site production is supported during the launch of any new product line
About You
As well as a keen eye for detail you will also need:
- The confidence to challenge with a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude
- li>Good PC skills (especially Google)
- Food experience in a technical or similar type role. li>A HACCP qualification or a food safety qualification (ideally)

- Providing technical support to the financial adviser team
- Calculating and assessing Capital Gains Tax (CGT) liabilities on investment disposals and chargeable event gains for investment bonds
- Supporting pension income calculations, including assessing lifetime allowance (LTA) positions and annual allowance usage
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of detailed cashflow modelling reports using tools such as Voyant
- Gathering, verifying, and analysing client data, including fact finds, policy information, and valuations
- Liaising with product providers and platforms to obtain information and quotes
- Monitoring workflow to ensure tasks are completed within service level agreements and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client records in CRM and back-office systems, such as Intelligent Office

About you :
- Previous experience in a technical support or administrative role within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA), wealth management, or financial planning firm
- A good understanding of financial products, including pensions, ISAs, bonds, and protection policies
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations and financial planning compliance requirements
- Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., Intelligent Office, Voyant) and the Microsoft Office Suite
