What would the Import & Export Coordinator do?
- Working with the import of goods coming into the facility, as well as helping with the shipping out and export of finished goods to outside destinations.
- The role is very varied, a lot going on. A lot of projects to get involved in, improving products. Fun and exciting environment. New product lines being introduced. Very fast paced role.
- Ensure import and export compliance, making sure all documentation is trade compliant.
- Handle daily import, export and Customs activity with freight forwarders and supply chain.
What experience will the Import & Export Coordinator need?
Essential:
- Previous experience and understanding of working within a Global Imports/Exports department.
- Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work and communicate with other departments, and external third parties.
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style.
- Keen and enthusiastic to learn - personality will go a long way in this instance!
