Are you an experienced Travel Consultant from a retail travel, corporate travel or tour operations background? Would you like a Monday to Friday role, with an above average basic, bonus and 28 days holiday plus bank holidays? Formed 15 years ago, this Travel Company had a vision of providing a flexible, bespoke (and most importantly) a creative approach to travel incentives, holiday prizes and prize fulfilment. This is travel, but with a difference! And they are seeking someone dynamic, pro-active and driven, to create a wide variety of specialist itineraries. Hybrid role based within a commutable distance of Northampton, Milton Keynes, Wellingborough and Bedford.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role involves working in the travel team, working on behalf of well-known brands and marketing agencies. You will be required to use your travel knowledge and creativity to provide innovative, bespoke solutions which will be utilised as travel prizes and incentives. This exciting and varied role involves researching and booking holidays for prize and incentive winners, administration, ensuring deadlines are achieved and on-going research to guarantee creative brilliance is exceeded at all opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for general winner account management ensuring service levels are met, liaising with incentive winners to advise them of the good news and booking prize trips. The ability to communicate well on the phone and by email are essential to nurture existing relationships and seek out potential new opportunities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a travel sales role. In addition, you will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You must be passionate about travel, motivated, driven and enthusiastic

The Ideal Candidate:
Chemistry Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) with strong theoretical and applied practical foundations.
Significant experience in technical sales, ideally in performance chemicals and fluids such as release agents or food-grade lubricants.
Proven expertise in solving niche, complex industrial problems through tailored solutions.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
Understanding of applications like high-temperature processes, contamination challenges, etc.
Excellent commercial acumen, including cost management, pricing strategies, together with Customer contracts and Distributor / Agents / Toll Manufacturer agreements.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively to global locations.
