A leading Tower Hamlets Prep school is seeking to appoint an Independent School Teacher to join their supportive and friendly small team from ASAP on a full-time basis.
School Details:
This small 1 form entry independent prep school caters for students from 3 to 11 years of age. The school provides a stimulating and engaging environment in which students achieve high academic results, while ensuring holistic development of its pupils. The school is a bilingual environment, offering both French and English curriculum to their students. The school are recruiting for their English curriculum classes and benefit from offering varied extracurricular activities, alongside excellent resources available to their staff. The school have excellent student behaviour, high pupil achievement and a positive ethos boosted by pastoral care and a supportive learning environment.
The school benefits from small class sizes of up to 15 pupils max per/class.

Position Details:
As an Independent School Teacher you will ensure that KS2 pupils receive high quality education designed to promote excitement, enjoyment and enthusiasm in learning, leading to the pursuit of excellence. You will be responsible for creating an atmosphere in which pupils feel valued and where personal endeavour and responsibility are fostered. It will be essential to have the experience and skills to prepare students for common entrance exams as many students move on to selective Independent Schools. The school ensures that class sizes are small, 15 pupils max! There is some planning involved but majority has been planned and will need updating to reflect the progress of the students.
Requirements for this Independent School Teacher Position:
To be considered for this position you must hold either a Bachelor of Education or a PGCE. Alongside this, relevant experience is essential, QTS and experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.

Romodels is an education charity that works with schools across Wales to provide a three-stage learning programme to support primary learners to ‘Discover, Experience, and Believe’ in a diverse range of career opportunities—regardless of their own lived experiences. The programme is delivered through our original, online, bilingual Romodels Learning Portal, which feature real-life volunteer role models (‘Romodels’) in a range of inspiring careers.
Focusing on Expressive Arts, Language, Literacy, and Communication, and/or Health and Wellbeing , this role is designed for educators who are passionate about developing creative curricula that highlight diverse and often hidden career paths and inspire the next generation of change makers and trailblazers. You will play a vital role in shaping and delivering content that empowers young learners to explore a range of career possibilities.
As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will collaborate with the Romodels team to design and implement high-quality curricula that meet the diverse needs of students. Your expertise will ensure that our educational programs are up-to-date, effective, and aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching best practices in curriculum design and instruction within Expressive Arts, Language, Literacy, and Communication, and/or Health and Wellbeing.
