**What you'll do** :
The Industry Advisor (IA) plays a critical role supporting our Industry business to grow sales pipeline and engage with our customers to secure revenue. The Industry Advisor provides industry perspective, strategic solution advice, and thought leadership to drive pipeline growth and quality through demand generation strategies, support sales cycles and customer co-innovation programs, and contribute to building SAP's leadership position in the industry.
**Area 1 - Planning, Strategy, & Practice Development:**
+ Develop and execute a quality and actionable business plan
+ Quarterly business plan review
+ Enable Sales, the VAT team, and the Partner Ecosystem on how to differentiate SAP for the industry
+ Develop compelling industry specific content in support of the five key job areas
**Area 2 - Drive Awareness & Incremental Demand:**
+ Develop SAP's brand in the industry through thought leadership, content creation, appearances in industry events, articles, and social & traditional media interviews, etc.
+ Create and nurture industry customers and communities
+ Get doors open. Create / qualify new pipeline opportunities
+ Provide Industry advisory for account planning
**Area 3 - Mature Industry Opportunities in Pipeline:**
+ Accelerate pipeline opportunity conversion to qualified customer engagements
+ Develop industry specific account strategies
+ Conduct executive first meetings to differentiate SAP based on industry relative to the customer's objectives
**Area 4 - Support Deal Execution:**
+ Differentiate SAP by industry throughout the sales cycle to increase win rates and grow deal sizes
+ Help shape the engagement by advising the sales teams to ensure the right industry message is delivered in deliverables like RFP responses, business cases, product demos, industry solution architecture, etc.
+ Lead customer executive conversations
**Area 5 - Support Customer Success Realization:**
+ Support post sale advisory and Executive Steering Committee meetings for top accounts in plan

+ 9-12 years professional experience
+ Expertise in Consumer Products industry

**The Team:**
The S&G Global Methodologies team is responsible for the development of the analytical frameworks used by rating analysts around the world. Our team of CSMEs and modeling experts partner with ratings practice leadership to drive analytical excellence in criteria for the Structured Finance (SF) practice.
**The Impact:**
The Managing Director - Criteria SME will report to the Global Head of Structured Finance Methodologies and will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering the strategic direction and development of criteria. The role is responsible for driving the execution of methodologies that enhance analytical excellence, strengthen transparency and enhance operational efficiency for rating analysts around the globe. Our goal is to provide the best-in-class criteria and model framework, and to be recognized as such by internal and external stakeholders. The individual will have the opportunity to work on all asset classes within SF, as well as cross-practice projects.

**Responsibilities:**
Owning and delivering a simplified and streamlined portfolio of criteria for the SF Methodology team that meets the goals of the practices.
**Advisory / Sector Expertise**
+ Build and maintain relationships with key internal analytical stakeholders, AM's (Analytical Team Manager's), AOCC's (Analytical Oversight & Consistency Council), and relevant MSME's (Subject Matter Experts)
+ Stay on top of sector trends and developments, including emerging risks and themes, climate, defi, cyber and supply chain
+ Assist the practice with the application of the criteria, constantly assess understanding levels and provide or co-lead targeted criteria training as necessary.
+ Identify and participate in thought leadership publications, including for sectors where we have no ratings outstanding
+ Address practice questions and stay on top of external criteria comments
**Criteria Stewardship**
+ Systematically assess whether the criteria remain fit for purpose by reviewing reports on ratings performance, calibration, timeliness of risks addressed, timeliness of data, emerging factors or market trends.
+ Assess levels of criteria complexity, prescriptiveness and transparency, relative to the needs of the asset class.
+ Understand any significant analytical and operational issues that committees are facing in applying the criteria, specifically including model/UI/data/app architecture
+ Propose updates to the criteria as necessary either via nonmaterial or material changes.
**Criteria Development**
+ Proactively drive the efficient execution of assigned projects, establish project plans and timelines, including planning and estimating resources necessary for completion of projects
+ Engaging key stakeholders across different groups globally to ensure successful execution.
+ Calibrate the criteria to support consistency of ratings and credit stability
+ Ensure model architecture and operational implications are carefully thought through and coordinated, to allow the business to conduct high quality analytics in an efficient and effective manner.
+ Conducting executive level presentations including to the Criteria & Model Governance Committee and the Board of Managers
+ Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, including interviews with examiners, where applicable
**Compensation/Benefits Information:** (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $275,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

**Basic Qualifications**
+ A minimum of 12+ years of related experience in the financial services industry
+ Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Financial Engineering or related field
+ Previous experience with credit criteria, underwriting standards, guidelines and protocols for the issuance of credit, including familiarity with methodologies and approaches used by credit rating agencies
+ Very strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across diverse stakeholder groups at all levels, including senior analytical leaders

**Additional Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Extensive current knowledge of S&P ratings processes and systems; understanding of regulatory requirements to enable appropriate assessment of parameters and provide guidance, especially in complex areas. Working knowledge of the procedures and methodologies used for determining credit ratings, including qualitative and quantitative models
+ A subject matter expertise within the CLO asset class, credits, structures, ratings models & methodologies is a decisive asset

The Senior ITO Construction SME (M&E) supports the ITO Construction Leader by providing subject matter expertise in construction methods, sequencing and practical field constraints.
This role contributes directly to the success of the tendering process by ensuring technical robustness, realism and constructability in bid submissions.
You will bring hand's on experience from project delivery to influence construction execution strategies, resource estimation and interface planning.
You will also play a vital role in capturing lessons learned and embedding best practices into front end planning, to ensure that the constriction operations can meet the company SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost) objectives.
**Job Description**
Main tasks are the following:
**Scope During ITO**
+ Contribution construction expertise in the domain of M&E for tender submission.
+ Conduct constructability reviews and participate in HAZCONS, layout reviews, access planning and construction feasibility.
+ Support site layout planning, temporary works arrangements, access logistics and equipment placement strategies.
+ Support in the clause-by-clause review of client provided information to confirm all tender requirements are captured, mitigated and/or rejected.
+ Support to ensure a gap analysis is undertaken against client requirement specification with regards to M&E installation in any subsequent subcontractor RFQ's.
+ Validate that engineering deliverables can be safely and efficiently constructed within the site constraints.
+ Review and validate BOQ provided from engineering.
+ Confirm site durations and shift patterns based on project execution plans.
+ Responsible for development of installation unit rates for each and all electrical commodity activities including direct and indirect scopes, i.e. embeds, underground duct banks - conduits, above ground raceways and supports, cable installations, cable termination installations, electrical equipment i.e. gear, panels, transformers, high voltage switchyard components, DC valves, lighting, grounding, fire detection, etc.
+ Provide mechanical and electrical installation cost (direct/indirect) to project controls for use in ITO estimate tools.
+ Support development and capture of preliminaries and indirect construction costs such as scaffolding, temporary facilities and supervision overheads.
+ Support and provide estimation of site labour, supervision and management resource requirements.
+ Provide input to productivity norms, installation rates and methodology assumptions.
+ Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to align supplier scopes with construction constraints.
+ Identify and flag construction related risks and dependencies for inclusion in the bid risk register.
+ Participate in the tender clarification responses, customer engagement sessions and internal gate reviews.
+ Draft or contribute to sections of the overall construction execution plan and methodology descriptions, incorporating site-specific phasing, logistics and access strategies.
**Scope During OTR**
+ Provide summary notes and key construction assumptions for handover to execution teams.
+ Ensure clear transfer of Construction risks, temporary works, resourcing commitments to OTR.
+ Capture lessons learned from OTR projects and embed feedback into cost norms and execution strategies for future opportunities.
**Network & Links**
Internal: Project proposal manager/director, Regional C&C Leader, ITO Region Construction Leader, NSE Construction Leader, NSE Commissioning Leader.
External: clients, electrical & mechanical subcontractors, electrical suppliers.
**Major Responsibilities:**
**Health and Safety:**
+ Demonstrate EHS leadership, ensure the application of GEV's EHS Policy and procedures in all site activities and ensure STOP WORK POLICY is implemented within the team
+ Reward and encourage proactive steps toward all matters related to EHS in the workplace.
+ Participates in EHS Gemba walks and lead EHS improvement initiatives across the portfolio of Construction sites across the region
+ Evaluate OTR EHS risks and implement practical measures within the ITO strategies and plans.
+ Sets an example by demonstrating the proper acts and actively observing work conditions and behaviours, giving immediate & constructive feedback, and celebrating achievements and/or safe behaviours.
+ Actively and routinely promotes the identification of hazards and near misses to their teams
+ Actively participates in defining corrective actions when work is unsafe or when an uncontrolled risk is observed.
**Quality:**
+ Ensure Compliance with Region and Global Construction quality Processes and incorporate into the ITO estimates.
+ Ensure robust reporting of any ITO non-conformances and process in a timely manner and support to resolve
+ Ensure process are in place to capture and collect of key information from OTR teams for preparation of Lessons Learned for capitalisation on future opportunities
+ Initiates and participates in improvement actions on Construction processes, tools, and documents.
+ Identify areas of improvement in ITO Construction operating procedures and tools
**Key performance indicator management and reporting:**
+ ITO M&E Progress against bid timeline
+ Timely submission of SME inputs required inputs to bid timeline
+ Attendance at Gate reviews, Hazcons etc
+ Timely Submission of required Inputs
+ Lessons Learnt application and inclusion (captured and published)
**Skills / Qualifications:**
+ Technical qualification in construction or engineering preferred but not essential.
+ Exceptional technical knowledge of construction methodologies and productivity norms within their specific field.
+ Skilled in labour and cost estimating principles, including site prelims.
+ Knowledge of reading electrical drawings and experienced in the coordination of other commodities that interface with electrical designs and installations in clear interface with electrical, civil and mechanical scopes.
+ Familiar with Tendering Operating Rhythm and Risk Evaluation.
+ Be able to knowledge share and coach others.
+ Comfortable using Excel, estimating tools and navigating numerous project documents.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, and to accurately and concisely report both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in ENGLISH mandatory. However, additional language proficiency in European languages will be an added advantage.
**Experience:**
+ Extensive and demonstrated years of experience of Mechanical and Electrical installation activities.
+ Experience in roles such as Site Management, Construction Management and Estimator.
+ Be knowledgeable on international standards and 'best practice' in relation to construction.
+ Be knowledgeable on environmental legislation and good industry practice in relation to construction works.
+ Be knowledgeable on the key applicable standards and specifications associated with electrical works construction applicable for countries in the region.
+ Some experience in offshore platforms E&I works will be an added advantage.
+ May be required to travel to various project sites across the region.
+ Ability to work remotely but integrate with the GEV's GSI wider team.
+ IT proficiency including collaborative platforms & tools.
