Job Description:Job Title: Medical Educator – Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Location: Remote (must be able to align with U.S. time zones)
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: September 2025 – April 2026 (extension possible)
Overview
We’re seeking experienced medical educators based in the UK, Australia, or New Zealand to collaborate on an innovative educational technology initiative. This fully remote opportunity allows you to shape the future of medical learning by reviewing and enhancing AI-generated academic content designed for medical students worldwide.
Open Roles
You’ll assess subject-specific content in one of the following areas:
- Physiology
- Pharmacology
- Pathology
- Cardiology
- Oncology
- Nephrology
- Endocrinology
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate medical content for accuracy, clarity, and educational value
- Provide structured feedback via defined review frameworks
- Participate in asynchronous review cycles (5–10 hours/week)
- Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or MD)
- At least 2 years’ experience teaching medical students
- Active involvement in curriculum delivery in one of the above subject areas
Panel reviewers will provide quality oversight and support across multiple subject areas.
Core Responsibilities:
- Review escalated content flagged by SME Evaluators
- Offer advanced feedback and quality assurance
- Contribute approximately 3–5 hours per week
- Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or MD)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical education
- Familiarity with academic standards in the UK, Australia, or New Zealand
- Peer-review or academic content evaluation experience is a plus
Onboarding Process
Selected candidates will go through a short onboarding period that includes:
- Screening interviews
- Credential/document submission
- Background checks
- Access to virtual systems and training materials
Eligibility Note:

**What you'll do:**
As a Customer Advisory Architecture Advisor, you will collaborate closely with SAP's sales organization and partner community to define account strategies while engaging directly with customers to understand their business and technical requirements. You will help bridge the gap between customer strategy and SAP solutions by working with customer architects to assess current landscapes and, in partnership, design future business and solution architectures for enterprise transformation.
You will build trusted relationships with customers, positioning yourself as a key advisor to help them achieve their desired SAP-based enterprise architecture outcomes. This role is based in SAP United Kingdom and Ireland and will specifically support the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence. You will work across SAP's offerings, partnering with the local and global defence community, supporting new technology adoption within all areas of MOD's operations
**Key Areas of Focus:**
_Defence Industry Experience_
+ Experience in or with the British Armed Forces is highly valued.
+ Able to communicate confidently with senior military leaders, employing accurate terminology and addressing strategic issues relevant to MOD.
+ Demonstrates a strong personal interest in defence and national security.
+ Eligible and willing to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
+ Experience working in secure and classified environments.
+ Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
+ Presence at Defence sites across the United Kingdom, particularly in southern England and London.
+ Collaborate with MOD teams to align customer needs with SAP capabilities.
+ Guide SAP teams in supporting defence objectives and product development.
+ Comfortable presenting to various stakeholder groups, from small briefings to large forums.
_Account Planning & Architecture Management Responsibilities_
+ Lead business and technical solution discussions, helping customers achieve objectives with SAP.
+ Assess existing SAP solutions in use and identify opportunities for broader adoption and footprint expansion.
+ Participate in the customer journey as part of the SAP account team, helping identify additional expert resources as required.
+ Promote cooperation and alignment among SAP, the customer, and partners in business and architecture strategy.
+ Serve as a key conduit between customer needs and SAP product teams.
_Creating an SAP Architecture Vision for the Customer_
+ Build customer demand with thought leadership and industry insight.
+ Understand and document customer business models, processes, and reference architectures.
+ Position standard cloud and hybrid architectures that support customer transformation.
_Building Deliverables: Business & Solution Architecture, Target State, Transformation Roadmap_
+ Lead business architecture and solution capability mapping.
+ Ensure alignment between business needs and SAP architecture feasibility.
+ Guide cloud and hybrid transformation plans with an emphasis on standard solutions.
_Being a Trusted Advisor_
+ Align and evolve transformation plans with customer adoption and SAP innovation.
+ Highlight value and integration points across the SAP portfolio.
+ Advocate for SAP strategy on innovation, artificial intelligence, and data.
**What you bring:**
+ Deep experience within the SAP ecosystem, ideally from a pre-sales or consulting environment.
+ Strong background as an IT or Enterprise Architect, or in solution management, business development, or consulting roles.
+ Experience writing thought leadership content relevant to MOD topics.
+ Comfortable working in complex, ethical partner environments.
+ Experience in governance, risk management, and delivering value for public sector customers.
+ Expertise in on-premises solutions, cloud, hosted services, and cloud-based networks.
+ Autonomous, decisive, and outcomes-focused, with the ability to lead and deliver within a collaborative team structure.
+ Consistently high delivery standards with a customer-focused mindset.
+ Established professional network within defence or related fields.
+ Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
+ Commitment to continuous learning and awareness of industry trends and competitors.
+ Fluency in English; additional languages are welcome.
+ Bachelor's degree required, Master of Business Administration preferred.
+ Design Thinking experience is a plus.
+ TOGAF or SAPIEA-10 certification, and familiarity with SAP architecture tools is an advantage.
